Zero stars if I could. While I tried to email this business to give them an opportunity to respond and discuss a recent horrifying experience at their store privately, but they failed to respond after 2 weeks, so here we are. Absolutely horrible and cruel experience with an employee who will surely put them out of business if she continues to represent the store. The employee was nasty , rude, insulting, literally yelling and making snarky comments and completely unaware of proper retail etiquette while attempting to exchange an item, as well as make several additional purchases. Stupid move on her behalf, because she lost a huge order of mine, and I have told all my friends to AVOID this store like the plague. As an owner of a business myself, I would want to know if my staff was rude to customers, which is why I emailed the store in the first place, but they donāt even care to respond. Unless of course the disrespectful, abhorrent staff member I dealt with was the owner herself, and deleted my email. Either way, I wouldnāt patronize this store ever again, despite making several previous expensive purchases (Iām suspecting this was when it was under other ownership). Head to Ogunquit ME Irish store to be treated with even a drop of humanity in comparison to this...

My 2 year old daughter accidentally knocked over some small unbreakable items with her jacket on the bottom of a rack. The saleswoman gasped in disbelief to other customers along with loud moans and groans. We quickly picked Up the items and went back to deciding on the many items we had planned to purchase. The customers that were also shopping asked the saleswoman how her day wasā¦.the saleswoman proceeded speak very loudly toward us answering that her day was just fine until a small child came in and knocked something over. I was so upset and in shock of how rude that my family was treated. I didnāt realize that shop only served a certain clientele. I told my family to put them items down and that we were leavingā¦.the woman proceeded to say in a haughty tone ā¦go ahead it was just a joke. I have never in my life been treated like that in a shop. It turns out it was happy accident because we ended up at Celtic Crossing where the owner was an absolute gem. She was kind and courteous and the same items Were 30% cheaper. Celtic crossing is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI realize I am a bit late in posting this but, here goes anyway! Back with me to June 2014. I was getting married and wanted to wear a kilt to honor my Scottish/Irish heritage ( don't let names deceive you...that's another story). So we went to Ireland on the Square and they set me up in fine fashion at a very modest fee!! I was thrilled with the entire process and my wife and I even bought matching wedding bands there! So fast forward to yesterday, August 30, 2018, and another long story, I lost my wedding band. It's somewhere in our home but I feel naked without it SO, I called the store and they were so very kind and helpful!! We will be stopping in tomorrow to get a replacement!! I may still find my ring but that will simply mean I have two!! We highly recommend this store for any and all your Irish, and even Scottish, needs, wants...
