Books The book selection is great, super helpful staff too. Dylan helped me out big time!! As a fantasy and sci-fi nerd, I felt like I’d just stumbled into my ideal quest. Classics and new releases both.

Kids stuff Kids books are plentiful AND they have toys! The toy section is a total win. I grabbed something for my kid, and she hasn’t put it down since. Selected by a pediatric expert according to the sign. they’re creative, fun, and multi purpose. Not plastic.

We just discovered Portsmouth Book Nook -- wow! This place performs that alchemy that only fantastic small-space bookstores seem to do -- how they offer so many great books in one place is a mystery, but they do. In our first visit we were wowed by the Memoir section in particular, and the children's section is absolutely terrific.
