DMV Select — Local services in Portsmouth

worst DMV Select location I’ve been to! I don’t know if it’s in Portsmouth so these employees act like they don’t give a damn about anybody and what they have going on, but I went there at exactly 430 yesterday and as soon as I got up there, it was 431, but the lady looked up at me and in response to my tags being stolen & said “aww well we closed at 430”. she told me to come back in the morning and they open at 8 o’clock, so I came back at 8 o’clock and the lady proceeded to tell me that they only do property tax up until 830 so I can have a seat and wait to get my tags until 830 although nobody was in line and they were open at eight.

Remember, this is a DMV “Select.” This location will not issue Driver’s Licenses. Also, this location is inside City Hall and you will only know that you have reached your destination once you see the blue sign beneath the Commissioner of Revenue sign inside the building.
