The Best! I inherited a wood shop from my grandfather and in the shop are wood handled counter brushes. Easily 75yrs old and still going as strong as new. Just like everyone these days, I have bought plastic handled counter brushes from the big box stores, just to have the handles break off. I couldn't take it anymore, so I spent some time online and what do you know, wood handled brushes are still made. I found Hardwick's and ordered two of the #55 counter brushes. Wonderful brushes and talk about fast shipping. It seems they ship 1st class. Anyway, one of the brushes had a handle problem which I notified Hardwick's about and in a couple of days, a new brush! Until the end of time I will order as many things as I can from this company. Simply amazing! If you're a tool nut, you could spend hours here (as I have) just looking around into all the nooks and crannies, taking it all in. Everything you never knew you needed, but now you want it. Every imaginable tool, such as machinist's tools, carpenter's tools, plumber's, electrician's, gardeners, the whole catalog. Housewares, both practical and/or funky, stuff you used to see in your childhood in your mom's kitchen, it will be here. Plumbing fittings, electrical parts, fasteners, nick-nacks, nifty stuff you can't find anywhere else, hinges, handles, nuts & bolts sold by the piece, new & used power tools .... You may have to pick through some things, and you won't be able to get around in a wheelchair because of the tight spaces and clutter. All worth it. The worst service I’ve ever experienced. I was having trouble finding a simple type of bolt for a shed I’m putting together, so I asked the first guy I saw for some help finding it. I tried to tell him what I was looking for, but he kept talking over me, until finally he decided he knew what I needed and brought me to a completely different part. Again as I tried to explain my purpose to him, he couldn’t seem to let me finish, instead saying things like “You should work on learning part names” or even “I don’t like getting talked over”. Eventually he listened long enough to tell me they didn’t have what I was looking for, huge waste of my time and quite disrespectful, as someone who builds things quite often I do not like being treated like a child.
