Sadly some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. This was not somebody having an off day as I have been in 15 - 20 times before. They seem to struggle with a lack of proper training and consistency in service. I have been in many times and order the same menu item with no coconut flakes. Nothing complicated. Multiple times even after reiterating to please ensure coconut is left off, it is repeatedly added. Honey makes it so it is stuck to and contaminating everything. For these prices, I am genuinely astounded. Sometimes they ask if it is preference or allergy, often they don’t. Both times this happened in the last month I respectfully confirmed it was not what I ordered and she said “oh yeaaaah” both times did not offer to fix the issue or remake it even after acknowledging they were the ones who messed up. Like it was I inconveniencing them and should just keep it moving. In total I’ve probably had them ruin $30-$40 of food I bought and it was basically just oh well. I gave plenty opportunity for multiple people to make this right in real time and they did not. Last time I bought and paid for a whole 2nd bowl at my own expense. Tonight in the drive through, I placed a very simple order for 2 bowls - told the girl taking my order this has happened a few times now and to please PLEASE ensure no coconut. She assured me she got it. Then after waiting I am handed two bowls covered in coconut AGAIN…she looked embarrassed and just walked away. No apology— nothing. I understand the employees are very young but this is a repeated and alarming lack of attention to detail that might land the next customer in the hospital or worse.
As someone who has worked in food service before and accommodated people with life threatening food allergies—these are the basics. It is my hope that management properly trains their employees on standard operating procedures before this really costs someone more than just money—everyone here should know better. If this was just an issue of poor customer service I wouldn’t even bother making a review and take my business elsewhere. After this last time I gave up and just asked for a refund. After waiting for another botched order, I left tonight with no food. It wasn’t busy at all, no other cars in the drive—they just don’t care. I would like to note the girl who made the food and was not passed the correct information (no fault of hers) stepped up and offered to remake which I appreciated after the ones who took the order just look at me with a blank stare offering no solution or apology. Anyone can make a mistake which is why I continued to go back. At this point there is no excuse and just continued indifference. For other customers with severe allergies this could be a very dangerous error, so BE CAREFUL. I have also waited for assistance standing a few feet directly in front of the employee assigned to the register waiting for her to finish playing on her phone before finally offering to help. No other customers around or being served. I’m unsure how the place is still open. With the high prices I guess they can still make some profit all else considered. The food they have was good when made correctly but unfortunately not worth the time, money, health risk or hassle to keep running into this....
Read moreI’m seriously so sad to give this place a bad rating. First let’s talk about the great things about Post Falls Wellness Bar the owner is an absolutely phenomenal woman, such a sweet and caring lady! And the idea of food is amazing! But the customer service and care for customers from employees has been subpar. My Fiancé and I have gone to the PF location consistently for the passed year and a half or so, we typically always have the same order and we always leave the employees a great tip as we understand how tasking their job probably is. We keep trying and trying to give them more chances but at this point I’m just kind of over it. Not only do they barely acknowledge you when you pull up to the window, but most of them seem irritated that you are even there. I understand that everywhere is short staffed right now but this has been a consistent and ongoing issue. Further, our food is very inconsistent and I always have to take it back for one reason or another. For example I get a Wavo with coconut oil and I either receive it with cream cheese or with the thinnest slices of avocado that does not cover the entirety of the waffle. So then I begin asking for extra avocado and still receive the same amount. I also get a bowl with specifications as I have allergies and always ask for extra almond butter. I either get no almond butter, the tiniest amount of almond butter, or it has other fruits in it that don’t come in the bowl and I am also allergic to. OR there is hardly any açaí in it. I’m not typically one to send my food back regardless if it’s correct or not as I work in the service industry and understand how much that can set the store back. BUT if I’m paying up to $10 for a bowl I expect it to be correct at least half of the time. Every now and then I will get great service and food but it is unfortunately quite rare at this location. I love their food so much when it is correct that I am willing to drive the extra distance and try other locations, but if I have the same experience at these locations I’m not willing to continue spending the very large amount of money I have already put into this place anymore. Again, I’m so sad that it has come to this as the owner is such a light and the food could be so phenomenal, but my experience today was very disappointing and unfortunately the end of my support of...
Read moreIt was almost 6:30 pm on 7/14/21, and I had just enough time to get my favorite thing, an acai bowl, for "breakfast" on my way to work. I work night shift at the hospital. There was one person in line in the drive through in front of me. Instead of taking his order and then working on it so as to be available to help the next customer, the employee didn't even try to hide that she was too busy chatting with the guy in the car ahead of me. She was talking, back and forth they flirted, as she twirled her hair and laughed and kept talking for well over 5 minutes, which was almost all the time I had. I was so frustrated, I had to leave without getting anything and just go to work hungry. I have never before been disappointed with the food or service there, but that was super rude and inconsiderate. The car was still there, and they were still talking when I decided to finally just go on my way. I hope this doesn't happen to other customers, because it could seriously hurt the business by damaging customer loyalty through a bad experience.
Jennifer, thank you for your response. I don't know how to reply so am editing my review instead. I had tried to leave a review back in July, but for whatever reason my computer was not allowing me to at that time. Anyway, I have since been back once and it wasn't a great experience, but not a bad one either. The food/drink product never disappoints, but the customer service attitude was just indifferent, but everyone has their days and you can't always help or control that. I do still recommend The Wellness Bar overall, because the products/goods offered are...
