Transformer Pilates has been one of the best workout activities I have ever done. Pilates is a mind and body exercise that promotes mobility and strength in all the major muscles while also focusing on the deep core muscles. It improves posture, flexibility, strength, balance, and body awareness. The instructors are generally excellent, and Lisa J. is one of the best. She ensures you get the most out of the exercise while focusing on your spinal health and the class's needs. I love the flow of Lisa’s classes. In my opinion, she guides the class to the next move right when your body is ready for the change. Lisa is calm yet energetic, providing options and adjustments while correcting us when needed. I have been going to RTR Pilates at Potomac studio for a while, and RTR has become my happy sanctuary. I love the location, it’s clean, spacious, has great clients, and above all, has wonderful instructors. I have been fortunate enough to be able to take classes almost with all of the teachers. Each one of them is unique and has her own special skill set and talents. They are all very caring and attentive and make sure you get the most effective result from each movement. Pilates is a complete workout for my body and my mind. It gives me alignment, a good posture, and great flexibility, along with happiness and extra energy to deal with my everyday life. I really enjoy taking classes at RTR Pilates in Potomac—the instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and make every session a great workout. The class structure is well-designed, and I always leave feeling stronger and refreshed.

That said, I’ve noticed that the Potomac location could use a bit of a refresh. The space tends to get dusty, and the reformers are starting to show their age. A little more attention to cleanliness and equipment maintenance would make the experience even better.
