Would give zero stars.1st time customer. Ordered take out. Messed up entire order. Wrong soup (got Tom yum instead of Tom kha). Avocado rolls were literally not rolled - all the rice /seaweed was separated from the avocado-completely. Just random ingredients floating in the box. And to top it off - the avocado was awful. Should have been thrown away. Not sold. Pan fried noodle w/vegetables- well no vegetables -just a box of dried uncooked noodles - literally uncooked dried noodles. No sauce, raw. It’s like if I bought the dried noodles packaged in a store, did nothing to prepare them, then dropped in a plastic container and called it pan fried noodles with veggies and charged $14. What?!!!!Seriously- I CANNOT believe this went unnoticed! It was completely inedible. Literal Choking hazard. We also ordered 2 General Tso dishes. Never in my life have I had the sauce in a separate container from the protein. Yet here it was. Fried (and not in a good way because it was extremely dry) tofu with a horrific overly sweet (like sugar) sauce to pour on top from a separate container. And not enough sauce either . And nothing resembling General Tso or Tao or any other general I’ve experienced at any other restaurant. Now This is the best part. None of the containers came with lids. Just the bottom part of the plastic container , then covered in foil. Every dish came wrapped in foil instead of a proper lid except the soup. Never had any desire to try this restaurant before, but went by the glowing suggestion of a neighbor. Never ever ever...
Read moreIf I could leave less than 1 star I would… I ordered sushi from this place for Mother’s Day through Uber eats and they sent the wrong sushi , which was for my wife. I called and asked if they could resend the correct sushi that I ordered. Instead of apologizing the girl on the phone decided to argue with me saying that I was mistaken. In order for her to believe me she made me take a photo and text it to her, which I did. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And bad taste! Then after she took a while to determine I was correct, she then says she can’t help us because we ordered through Uber eats.
So then I proposed that I order something else from their menu and asked them to send the sushi roll complimentary along with it. She then said “okay that’s fine….” When I was about to order she then says, “oh actually it’s a $20 minimum” … so then I said okay I’ll do $20 minimum she then asks for my address and then says “oh you’re actually outside our delivery range of 4 miles” (by the way I live 4.3 miles away exactly and order from this place pretty regularly for a family of 5, as I am a local).
After pleading with her, she kept sticking to her policy and I got frustrated and hung up. My wife couldn’t believe it so she called back and the lady changed her mind and said “oh it’s because we don’t have enough drivers”. Complete BS.
This place has the WORST customer service and offensive considering its location. IF it wasn’t the ONLY decent Chinese restaurant in Potomac area, I would never order...
Read moreI went in quickly for takeout. I figured the ambience was decent at least in the area for patrons. I loved how they decorated the ceiling with umbrellas. I generally like to see a bit into the kitchen to see how clean it is from what I could see standing by the cashier, it was average but a lot of the back was obscured so I wasn’t sure what I would be getting from the outside ambience alone. I felt like they would likely be hygienic. I didn’t get any weird smells. The tables weren’t sticky or dirty. I figured this is also Potomac area. I should be able to get decent takeout. Boy was I wrong I’ve had comparable food out in the boonies nowhere USA it doesn’t seem authentic at all. I’ve done a better job trying to make chicken pad Thai at my home. Firstly, I told them not to have bean sprouts I’ve seen bean sprouts in there. I’m not sure if they have premade food and they just heated up. The noodles were boiled. They don’t seem like they were lightly sautéed in a walk , they weren’t spicy at all. It was Bland. There was no color to it. I didn’t taste any tamarind. I didn’t really taste any seasoning. There was barely any chicken there again there were beans sprouts and I said not to put bean sprouts it’s a good thing that I wasn’t allergic, but I just don’t like it however I couldn’t eat it. I tried picking it out of my food, but The taste the texture was enough for me to just throw away the $16...
