Good place to stop by to eat or have coffee with friends, especially if you went for a hike at the Great Falls park that is a couple miles down the road. Prices are rediculously high for everything. But this is one of the most expensive areas of Bethesda that is by itself one of the priciest cities in the country. Lots of trendy well-to-do people on Lexuses, Mercedeses, Jaguars, Porsches, and even more expensive cars like Ferraris once in a while. French bakery has a nice choice of great stuff. I actually recommend getting your sweets there and then if you completely must, get the coffee at Starbucks. But the bakery has a decent coffee, too. Grocery and wine stores are good, Walgreens...
