Many only think of Aldi as a discount grocery store with fewer brands to choose from. What it really is, is Trader Joe's in different clothes. They both carry many of the same products, but Aldi has many more locations in PA, and consistently has the lowest prices around on most products. Aldi's store-brands are often as high quality as most name-brands, sometimes higher, and you will never find artificial colors in their foods.

They have one of the best selections of cheese around, and always at low prices. Seasonally, they offer lots of traditionally German items like spice-wafer cookies, (Spekulatius), marzipan, and Lebkuchen (gingerbread) cookies just like the traditional ones in Nuremberg.

If you're savvy, you can put two Insta-crates in the cart at the end of the register, and bags & bagging become unnecessary.

True to their German heritage, Aldi is high-efficiency, meaning you bag your own items, and return your own cart, or forfeit your quarter.

I was so unimpressed today while insta cart shopping today. As I’m checking out, I mention to the employee Hayden that I was working and needed to seperate my orders and pay individually for each order. As he proceeded to not care, he threw all my items combined into the cart and proceeded to tell me I couldn’t do anything about it because I didn’t bring another quarter for another shopping cart for my seperate items. After speaking with management, he was pulled off the registers as he should be, but it certainly can take your great mood into a real joy buster with that...

There curbside pick up person must never work here or something or they don’t pay attention and you can’t call the store to get them outside would not recommended if you’re disabled in any way saw a women and child have to walk in and complain how they have been waiting forever and nobody brought there stuff out for them I’ll never do this again at this store and when the person finally came out they said are you picking up I said yes I said the name and they said you marked the car as silver not gold I tried calling you then just walked away with attitude
