Longship Marine — Local services in Poulsbo

Longship Marine is a boat owners dream for a marine supply resource. Here's my top 5 reasons I consider them a gem: First, they are one of the few "cruise in" stores, meaning you can pull your boat up to the Port of Poulsbo guest dock (5 bucks for 4 hours), walk across the parking lot, and find everything you need for your boat. When you're done shopping you are steps away from great restaurants and shops that make Poulsbo one of the best destinations in Puget Sound. Second, owners Nico and Aaron are highly knowledgable boaters who provide exceptional service and advice to their customers. Third, they are well stocked and I love the mix of retail and consignment products, which means if you can't find it used they probably have it new. Fourth, if they don't have what you need they are exceptionally helpful at getting it for you. Fifth, they are one of the few marine consignment stores in Puget Sound and being able to get your unneeded stuff off your boat and sell it is a huge benefit that we appreciate. We are full time cruisers who have chosen the PNW for our cruising grounds, and having been all over we are delighted to have found Longship Marine and consider them our first choice for anything we need...

This place is a complete hidden gem. Incredible deals, every boater's dream! Filled with practical bits and bobs like used winches, cleats, blocks, etc, as well as handmade items like rope mats, ditty bags, and monkeys fist keychains. They even had a classic marine potbelly stove with a nice tile on the front painted with a tall ship! Although I doubt it will be there for long. They also have a very wide selection of oars for various crafts, in great condition. Excellent selection of used books and vintage celestial navigation tools/books as well! Wow! This place is amazing! Even if you aren't a boater ,they have such cute stuff. They have tons of parts, tons of boating things you can't find or they don't make anymore. Light covers , horns, anchors, lanterns, books and so much more With the overwhelming amount of treasures, it is so organized. You can sell parts too!From decorating or keeping you boat afloat, they have it. The owners are more knowledgeable than I've experienced before.
