Got the back glass repaired on an iPhone. We were told it would be ready in 4 hours. We had not received any updates and went back in an hour and a half before closing. We were told that they had âjust been too busy to finishâ but that it would be finished first thing the next morning. I called an hour after opening and was told by Olivia that there was no one there who could work on the phones and that she would find out an update and call me back. After no phone call, we went back into the store this afternoon. It was ready, despite us not being notified. Except now the flashlight and phone speaker do not work. Neither of those were issues prior to dropping off the phone. The employee, who was polite, told us that all we can do is talk to the manager tomorrow. Moral of the storyâŚdonât waste your time here. They will keep your phone longer than promised, not notify you when finally finished, and return it to you in worse shape than when you dropped it off.
Edit: The store manager (Alyssa) has called my wife. She has said she will be making this right. Once we see what that means, I will update my review again. Alyssa was very apologetic and very nice.
Second Edit: Alyssa replaced my wifeâs phone for her. It turned a disappointment into a better experience. I have updated my review to 5 stars due solely to Alyssa being as...
Read moreEdit from my original review. Iâve received tremendous service from the Montgomery store in the past when my phone wouldnât charge. Theyâd take air duster and tweezers to the charging port and get it working. I asked what the charge was and they said âno charge.â The Montgomery store was out of compressed air today so I stopped by the Prattville location on Cobbs Ford. The girl behind the counter took my phone and began using the compressed air and told me, (after) she began cleaning it, that if the phone charged up after she cleaned it, there would be a fee, but she did not recall the price. She tried to charge it on two or three separate chargers, and it would not charge at one outlet. I told her I would just take it home and do it myself. She ignored my request for the phone back, took it to another outlet and tried it again, didnât work, she flipped the charging brick, and after many unsuccessful attempts, it worked one time. I had to leave a Google review just to take it down from $34 to $29, which still seems outrageous for working on it before telling me the price, but I did not want to start a confrontation. I am changing my review, and I am completely unsatisfied with the service...
Read moreI called Sunday spoke with the young lady. She even reached out to the location that did replace my battery and a gentleman called and said he would replaced my battery for free. When I called Tuesday spoke with a young lady. I was trying to explain to her what was going on and She kept cutting me off. She was kind of starting to be really rude. I brought my phone to her and explain to her that it was running hot after they fixed it. I came back from my doctors appointment. She told me that it did not run hot at all while she had it. I asked her did she turn it on and play with it for a few minutes to see what it was doing she said that she did not need to do all that it was fine. She didnât bother to check it thoroughly. She told me that the free battery the guy had offered was not allowed, and now my phone is in worse shape than I gave it to them, and I actually spoke to a former manager of the company and told him About everything and he said that was really messed up and wrong so after being in a faithful loyal customer of theirs Iâll not coming back ever again because of the way I was treated and how bad my phone is now safely say that I am angry, infuriated, loyal, customer...
