First time visiting this Chick-fil-A, nothing unusual, super busy during the lunch hour. First time I had dined inside since Covid restrictions have been lifted. VERY crowded, no visitor or employee wearing a mask. First time I had ever entered a lobby at Chick-fil-A to see trash cans filled to the top. First time ever had I experienced a long line (out into the seating area) of ladies waiting to get into the restroom at a Chick-fil-A. Not surprising to hear/see that the stalls were out of TP as those exiting were saying. I feel sure that someone had reported that this outage, but I also reported as I exited and returned to my table. I ordered and paid for my lunch and a large cup of ice dream/cream as usual, and always getting my cup to go after eating. I went to the "to go" counter as there was no one working the dining area asking if you needed a refill of your beverage or or any assistance with anything else as I would normally get a beverage refill and my to go cup at that time. I proceded to tell the 2 young ladies at the counter that I had ordered my cup to go, already paid for it when I placed my ordered and that I was ready to leave. The 2 looked at me as if I were talking in an alien language. I had my receipt in my hand and again said that I had purchased a large cup of ice cream when I ordered, but got it to go, and I was ready to leave. After what seemed like 5 minutes, of "arguring" discussing?? with these gals about my ice cream and the size, I was feeling like an unappreciated customer. The large size according to these 2 gals was equal to a large beverage cup, and I said that I didn't think that was the correct size cup that it was way to big. They showed me a kids cup, which again was the wrong size, way to small, that those were the only 2 sizes. I showed them my receipt and she said just give her kids cup. I now was over this situation and needed to get back on the road home, to TN. I took the kids cup and exited a mad customer! So much for hearing "my pleasure", or let me ask my manager about the cup size, or making the customer happy and feeling empowered enough to make a decision to offer a different size cup. Oooo they were empowered alright, enuff to make a decision to make a customer mad, handing me my kid cup of ice cream, barely filled just to get me outta their area....That is how I felt. Needless to say, the store was under staffed for the amount of business that showed up that day, no associate at this store was wearing a smile, it must have gone away with the masks, and certainly forgot Chickfila manners that we all have become accustomed to hearing and making the customer feel appreciated. Perhaps some after Covid traing on the "Chick-fil-a way of treating a customer is the order....
Read moreThis morning around 10 o'clock, I visited Chick-fil-A with a specific craving for a chicken sandwich. I asked the employee if I could order one, and she replied that it was too early because lunch starts at 10:30. While I understood the timing, I then requested some french fries to substitute for hashbrowns with my breakfast. To my surprise, she told me no again. I was baffled by this response and questioned her reasoning, but she just shrugged it off and laughed with another employee as if my request was a joke.
Frustrated, I asked to speak with a manager. After pulling around, I spoke with him, and he firmly stated that it was against policy to accommodate my request. I pressed him, saying, “You can physically make this happen, so please just give me some french fries as a substitute.” His response remained the same: “We can’t do that.” Next, I inquired about speaking to the owner, hoping for a different outcome, I asked if he was there, and he said no. I then asked if he could call him, and he said yes. Afterwards, I pulled up to the drive-through window. Another man named Brad Green came out to talk to me. I asked, "So, are you the owner of Cobbs Ford Road in Prattville, Alabama, at this location?" Mr. Brad Green confirmed that he is the owner of that location.
When I spoke with Mr. Green, I reiterated my request and asked why I couldn’t simply have french fries with my breakfast. He repeated that they just couldn’t do it. At this point, I made it clear that there’s a difference between “can’t” and “won’t.” It felt like the real issue was their unwillingness to accommodate my simple request. Despite my attempts to explain this, he laughed it off at first but then became serious and threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave. after he threatened to call the cops on me I asked for the other manager’s name as well that I was speaking to and told me do not worry about that only worry about me and my name Very rudely.
This entire situation was unnecessary and could have been resolved easily with a straightforward yes. I was simply a paying customer looking to enjoy my meal, and it’s disappointing that this experience turned into...
Read moreIt is Chick-fil-A. If you need to read a review about it, you must not be Southern.
They have the best chicken and waffle fries. It is becoming more common now, but they were also the first place I know of that introduced those Coke Freestyle machines that let you completely customize your soda instead of picking from a limited selection.
Fast food stores are just about always a little nasty inside, especially the bathrooms, but Chick-fil-A has always been completely clean and awesome. Service is always top notch. Never have been given the wrong order a single time in my entire life at a Chick-fil-A, whereas at places like McDonalds (who have zero standards for employees) it happens pretty regularly.
Everyone in town loves Chick-fil-A, so there is always an enormous line in the drive thru to get your order... But it doesn't matter, because unlike every other fast food place, they take your order and give you the food EXTREMELY fast. The line virtually never stops moving the entire time you're in it, while other places like McDonalds you can sit in place for several minutes before moving again or even be pulled forward to wait on food to cook. Never happens at Chick-fil-A.
Clean. Professional. Delicious.
My only complaint is they aren't open on Sunday. But I guess those christian values are part of why they run such a tight ship with...
