Poblanos Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Prattville

I have been going to this place for YEARS! Saturday I went. Our waiter was rude. Literally was not happy being there at all. Didnt ask how we were, didnt smile, engage in any conversation. I figured he's had a rough day. We asked for cheese dip. Brought it to us very slowly. I ordered some drinks. Afterwards I seen on the menu they have "happy hour" it says Wednesday and Saturdays. I kind of figured it wasn't for mixed drinks but I asked "what is their happy hour". He didnt try to explain what it was. All he said was "we do not have a happy hour." So after pointing it out here tells me "yea but not for yours" which i was expecting him to explain what their happy hour was. (Even though I've been going for years I have never drank there. This was the first time.) Yes a friend of mine later had a problem with her drink. She asked for the manager. "He will be here in an hour" He never came by our table to ask how everything was, do we need refills, or anything. We had to get his attention for him to even give us a refill of Sprite. There was hardly anyone there and still waited forever for anything we ordered. I asked for my ticket. So I finally went up there and said I need my ticket I'm ready to leave. I even apologized for him having a rough day and tipped and still he had the worst attitude. I was highly disappointed...

I’m not typically a person to complain but today really did me in . My husband and I eat here frequently for lunch and our bill is usually $20. I go in today I asked for two avocados which everybody knows it’s cheaper at a grocery store to purchase an avocado than it is purchase it at a restaurant but I’m willing to pay seven dollars for that and a drink ! The owner or whoever was trying to charge me $18 for avocados because he said I had two orders he’s always rude to me every time I go in and I’m just the person to give the benefit of the doubt. But never again will I be played for a fool. You apparently don’t need my money that bad I’ll just go to Mexico Tipico but I want everyone that goes here to know how much I was charged for two...

I judge all Mexican Restaurants by their Queso and refried beans and Poblanos definitely delivered with the flavor. Most Mexican Restaurants have bland refined beans but they had good flavor. I ordered the beef burrito and enchilada meal and liked it alot. I definitely recommend this place. The one down fall it took quite awhile to get our lunch and they weren't that busy and the waiter was not too good as far as keeping a check on us our drink ran out 2 times and I had to ask someone else...
