The Juicy Seafood — Restaurant in Prattville

Visited this establishment with a party of 16, we called ahead and them aware of our arrival time and the number of people with us. We arrived at the restaurant at and was seated around 745. Our waitress (Nicely) didn't come to our table until maybe 815. That was after someone from our party had to ask staff about our server. She got our drink orders and food orders then explained it may take some time for drinks to come out due to her having to put the order in and make drinks. We understood that. After sitting there about 15 minutes we noticed our waitress talking and laughing with other tables. We're still sitting there waiting for drinks utensils anything. It's now 900pm and no one has come back to the table with drinks or anything. A member of our party was looking for the restroom when she stopped an employee. That same employee asked if she was good to go. She then explains how our situation and the man begins walking around the restaurant looking for our waitress. After about another 15 minutes we finally decide we're not going to stay and we get up to leave. On our way out we're met by our waitress and the first lady we expressed our complaints to about not having drinks. They're both carrying drinks for our tables, we tell them we're not staying and to cancel everything. The lady, not our waitress begins telling us it took so long because she had to put our order in and make drinks. But our food is being cooked now. They did apologize but with the amount our tickets would have been plus the 18% gratuity I expect better service than that. I decided my group will be leaving. Other members of our party left as well. The manager was made aware of the situation and apologized then started defending the waitress explaining how she had to place orders and make the drinks. She then offered to take the gratuity off and started saying how the food was being cooked. Everything about our Juicy Seafood experience was unacceptable.

Update: The members of the party that stayed said the manager apologized and even waited on them herself. I was also told she did what she could to rectify...

First and last time as we did not have a great or good experience. Expectations were medium and actual experience was poor. There is no team work among employees, manager was apologetic for the food and tried to make up for the lack of food there was however, when you dine at a restaurant your server should know the tools to accommodate with your meal. Such as, straws, butter, cocktail sauce, the seafood cracker thing a majig for crab legs but hey asking for a refill or lack there of crab leg meat altogether was a total waste of time and effort. After explaining to the manager a second time of waiting 20 minutes for your server to complete serving you or giving you the check was beyond ridiculous and paying $72.20 was way too much for a fast food seafood restaurant such as this. I gave the manager $80 was going to leave the difference for a tip however, never did the waitress stop or check on us while serving other guests so I left $2.80 would have left more or the total difference but it was too much for the overall service and lack of treatment of the entire employees in the restaurant. You ask another server for a cocktail sauce while they are on their way to the kitchen only to wait another 10 minutes for your server to drop and run off. Never again for a low class restaurant 🙄 I'd rather enjoyed throwing my money away at the casino for at least a alright moment. The Juicy Crab needs to reconsider their management and employees at this location or close the doors and be done. It's only a matter of time and this place will be closed down. I would've rathered rated it a ZERO star and a one across tthe board had the manager not been so apologetic but paid full price for eating nothing (no meat in their seafood unless it was shrimp) guest still hungry for satisfaction. Food was good for the most part, but crab meat was overcooked. The service was TERRIBLE. We had a black girl that was asked to refill our drinks multiple times and she never did. Never got a refill. She brought my boyfriend a warm beer. She didn't bring crab crackers or forks, so I ate my whole meal and sat there for about 10 mins before we had to get up and hunt her down so we could actually finish our meal. We tried to wave her down multiple times, but she pretended not to see us and had to chase her around the restaurant. Then she brought one cracker and one fork for both of us to share, claiming there wasn't anymore clean ones. We still tipped her $10, despite the horrible service, and she had the audacity to give us a dirty stare on the way out. She didn't come check on us even once the entire time. I was thirsty and didn't have proper tools to eat my meal. Meal time from start to finish took 2x longer than it should have. We were paying a sitter for her time as well for our date night.
