Let me start off by saying this was my worse experience at any Panda Express. I did a mobile order and I was hoping I could pick up at the drive tru but it was blocked when i got there so i had to go, inside I notice several white persons coming in grabbing their mobile order or this specific white lady that works there asking their names grant you she never asked them to verify the order showing their phone she just asked for their name. I sat there for over 10mins then I decided to walk to the register to asked about my order the young lady asked for my name I told her and of course my ticket just just sitting there because the store had quiet a few folks around she asked if it could be done because I was there this lady said she would prepare the order while I went back to sit I saw her coming and got up she said what’s the I said my name she said what I said my name again I do have an accent so I showed her the phone she was asking where is the name at this time I am already pissed because she never asked to see anyone’s phone and yes I’m a black female I said ma’am it’s my order I took the bag from her. If you are going to want to see a black person phone to verify the order do the same for your white folks too. I promise if my 7yrs old never asked me to go get it I promise I wanted to return and ask for a refund I even lost my appetite. I will definitely stay...
Read moreWell the orange chicken here is way to spicy. Idk if anyone has ever tried the panda express orange sauce from their store, but i do. Just for a comparison this panda express has 3 times the spice in their sauce. And dont get me started on the noodles they are VERY under cooked. I have to order to go and bring them home put a 1/4 cup of water in a frying pan and add the noodles (i just paid for in the restaurant) and cook them longer myself... And to think i paid 40.00 when i went . i love to travel and do so alot and have eaten at a panda express in every state that i could find one in and so far over the years this one is one of the worst tasting ines i have ever been to. The olny good thing was i was compt for my food/money. But that does not mean i will not tell the truth on what happened. If im paying for it should be cooked properly , i shouldnt have to take it home to re-cook the food i just bought . its a good thing i learned the recipe for alot of panda express food at home i love the taste just not the fact its not done or done properly. And if i do buy it i can at least try to...
Read moreWe used to eat a lot of Panda. When we lived in the Atlanta area, we would regularly visit Panda for lunch and dinner. We also would get the family meal and take it home for the 5 of us to eat. When we moved to rural South Georgia, we would travel 2 hours to Jacksonville, FL just to eat there. It was awesome.
Then we moved to Prattville. We were excited when we learned there was a Panda Express so close to our home.
That is, until we ate there. If they aren't out of food when we visit, what they do have is too cold to eat. Their staff is constantly changing and I don't think I've seen the same manager more than twice. It is very expensive for what you get. The food also seems to have changed. It seems to have gotten spicier. Even the things that were once mild seem spicy now.
Also, they have removed many of the good items from their menu (like mandarin chicken). It just doesn't seem as fresh as it used to.
Sometimes, though, it is good and we remember why we liked it. I guess it's not so bad that we won't go back again, but we don't crave it...
