The owner is very nice, very easy to get along with, and most importantly listens to what you want. I have her work on all my dress clothes and never have i ever had an issue where i was unhappy with the quality of her work. She narrows ties, takes in shirts, restructures coats, in short she does it all. She even does work that local seamstresses refuse to do such as recollaring or raising armholes and adjusting coat shoulders. I would NOT trust anyone else to do this on my wardrobe where the average cost of my coats is $500!!!
She is very reasonably priced considering the quality of her work. She is one of the few people I know anymore that take pride in and stand by their work. Her commitment to her craft is evident in her work. Please do not be upset if she tells you that she can not do your work the way you want. She knows the right ways to do almost any alteration and will not compromise on her integrity. I have never had any of her work fall apart which is more than i can say for other alteration specialists ive used in the past.
The only downside is that she has so many customers(because of her reputation for quality work) that she usually has a turn around time of about 10 days. She is willing to work with you inorder to meet your deadline.
In summary, Good customer service, excellent reputation, give you what you want, great quality of work, however somewhat longer turn around time than others. If you go here, you will not be...
Read moreI’m not the type of person who writes reviews, but this place was so bad I feel like people need to hear about it. We brought my daughter’s wedding dress here for alterations. With 17 days left before the wedding, I called to check on it and was told the dress hadn’t even been touched. She said she wouldn’t even start until the week of the wedding. Who does that with a wedding dress?
I called twice and left my name and number. I was promised a call back but never heard anything. Instead, they called my daughter and told her she just needed to be patient, that she was “bride number 7” in line, and that she had to wait her turn. That’s not customer service, that’s an insult.
When I went to pick up the dress and get my $300 back, she was rude and dismissive. No apology, no accountability, nothing but attitude. To top it all off, when I pulled into the shop she was standing outside smoking a cigarette right next to the dresses. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how little she cares.
This business is unprofessional, careless, and completely disrespectful. I regret ignoring the other bad reviews because they were right. Do yourself a favor and...
Read moreMy husband and I were married last week and chose Daniel's to do the tux jackets. We live about 2 hours away, so he planned a trip with my son to get fitted about 2 weeks before the wedding date. The fitting went well and a pick up day was determined (the day before the wedding). My husband drove over to the store and met with nothing but problems. No one was at the store at first, despite them being open. Then the tuxes weren't altered at all and they had to call their seamstress in to work to alter the jackets. They say that they did their job because my husband "wasn't sent away" and the tacked tux jacket was enough to get through our day. He waited for over 2 hours at the shop for the work to be done even though the store knew the agreed upon pick up time and date. No compensation to us was made for inconvenience or a semi-completed product. I don't recommend using this company if you want your special day to go off...
