El asadero pv — Restaurant in Prescott Valley

I first would like to talk about the customer service at this place being awesome. I find it hard to come by nowadays so thought I’d start there. This is a casual place with delicious food. My son ordered the chicken quesadilla... o my goodness I had to steal a piece of it and you could taste the Smokey grilled chicken and the lightly buttered tortilla to die for. My husband ordered a carne asada torta and the meat was tender and seasoned to perfection. But we all know it’s always about the bread on any sandwich and they did not disappoint it was delicious. Now finally I ordered the tacos one asada, one chicken and one carnitas. Best tacos I have ever had since Mexico. And you get to go up to the salsa taco bar and put on your toppings which made me so happy because they were exactly as I wanted them. And I know you are all wondering about the chips and salsa since we all are basing how much we like any Mexican Food restaurant on this of course and I have to say this also is the best I’ve had in along time. The Salsa and Chile are great! Now to my absolute favorite thing, the chips are perfect. They are really crisp and not a drop of oil to be found, I don’t know hoy they do it. Ate here the first time and immediately became a regular customer. Fresh ingredients, reasonable prices, full salsa and vegetable bar, clean tables and the family that owns it is very friendly and attentive. Also, you have to try the menudo on Saturdays. They offer white and red menudo. I've only had the red so far but it is authentic and delicious. Only order the large bowl if you have a huge appetite or you're sharing, because it's enormous. This is the only place in Prescott Valley where a couple can get really good Mexican food for less than $20 total. I've eaten there over a dozen times in the past month or so, and I haven't had a bad experience yet. Its stupid to go to Riliberto's or Taco Bell when you can have really good food here for about the same...

I don’t even know where to start, but I guess the first thing I noticed is this is probably the cleanest restaurant I have been in my life. But it does not stop there, it was my first time in and I did not know what to try so, I ordered a small quesadilla with a side of guacamole and a Sonoran dog.

Let me tell you, this is the best food I have ordered in quite some time. The Sonora dog alone, took my breath away with a super soft Bun tons of toppings that all go well together, I could’ve eaten three of those. The quesadilla was simple yet very tasty, but the kicker was the scratch made guacamole with fresh lemon. I could not stop eating it by the spoonful.
