The other day when I was about to start playing one of my ‘Hot Single Shooter’ computer games, I heard a “Snap, Crackle, Pop” sound and all of a sudden, my mind absorbing game lock on screen and froze up. Staring in amazement I whispered a couple phrases that can’t be mentioned here and rebooted the PC. That usually fixes things and gets me back running again. But, not this time. In fact, not this time and several times over.

So I grabbed my PC and sprinted to my favorite PC repair shop, Tri-City Computers and anxiously explained to them my dilemma and the frustration I was experiencing being unable to shoot ‘Bad Guys’ on my computer game. You see, I’m a retiree with too much time on my hands, sometimes. But that’s another story.

With straight forth eagerness and professionalism, the techs at hand took my PC and reconnected cables, plugs and all other fancy technical things and proceeded to look inside her (my PC). With the skill of a diagnostician and skillfully searching inside while making discovery comments such as “Oh, Ah, oh no, this is not good.” They turned to render me the sad news while I paced the floor like an expected Father awaiting his first newborn. Well, not really but you get the picture.

“Your graphics board is fried, toasted, gave up the ghost. We will have to render a transplant.” Relieved, I replied, “Okay, whatever it takes. Spare no costs.” So after ordering a replacement, they installed a brand new graphics board – a younger model, sleek, fast with more power. So now I’m very happy sitting in front of my monitor shooting up bad guys in my single action computer game.

The bottom line to this little escapade is to render to all of you who are reading this that in my opinion there is no other better computer repair shop anywhere, hands down bar none then Tri-City Computers. UPDATE: Still the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Greg forgot in his response to mention that I bought my computer from them. He was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. His little snarky response to me reporting him as the rudest person on the phone shows you just how he will talk about you behind your back if you are his customer. Do not give them your business. In the 11 months since I called Greg I have used his competitor 7 times. I am a very loyal and dedicated customer when treated right. Greg needs to take lessons on how to treat customers. I bought my computer FROM HIM and he totally forgot about that. Don't be like Greg. Especially if you own a business.

I just had the worst experience with customer service ever with Greg. I called him 1 week ago to come to a house call to check my computer. He asked me to text him the information which I did 6 days ago. He never replied. He never showed up today for the call. I called and he just said I guess I slipped through the cracks. He can't come out today. I asked for a discount and he had the nerve to say no he could not afford it. Absolutely the worst service ever. And to be honest, I texted him 7 times and he never once replied. All he had to say was he was sorry and yeah how about a 10% discount for FORGETTING ME. I do not recommend them at all. I really hope that in the future Greg will be kinder and at least LOOK at his text messages. I find it really hard to believe that a computer guru did not look at his text messages for 6 days. 6days he didn't look at his messages? I do not recommend them at all. I would have prior to this. Wow, I had a crash a couple of weeks ago and while I can pretty much fix things myself, this time I could not and started making calls and asking questions (after severl sleepless nights of trying to figure out what was happening) and Zion answered at Tri Star Computers and he was wonderful, (Some places were very rude and crude!). Zion listeneed to my conserns with concern and made some suggestions and soon he was helping me get back on track and up dated to Winmdows 10. My old Restore/Recovery disk would no longer work, something simple, but not alway easy to fix if one can not figure out if it is the desk or the hard drive. His compastion to help an old lady (75) was very sweet and yet he was still all business. I met his Dad Greg the next day and he too helped me get back on track. This teem has years of experience combined, able to expalain things in basic english instead of computer jargan, and offer some basic help. I have an old laptop that if I don't get rid of I will dropp off one of these day and let them fix and bring it also up to snuff. Prices are comparable, reasonable and aforadable.
