My wife took my new $450 motorcycle vest here to have patches put on, we have used elegant brides in the past before with no issues. my wife dropped off the vest And they spoke about patches being placed on the vest but because it was a very thick concealed carry vest she said it would be a big job and my wife said that that would be fine. Never once did the owner say that she could not do the job or the job was too hard or The vest was too thick and they needed to be sewn on by hand instead of machine work. After over 4.5 weeks of having the vest she picked it up And the patches were sewn on by hand Which was never mentioned either it looked pretty sloppy, the stitching was loose,uneven and gappy not to mention she left needle marks in my brand new expensive vest. My wife sent me pictures of the work and I said I was not happy with it and to leave it again that it needed to be fixed,which the employee and my wife agreed upon. The owner would not come out and speak to my wife either,she had to go through and employee apparently which seems kind of strange and unprofessional imo. anyways my wife went back to pick it up a week later and it didn't look much better at all and it actually looked like something that we could have done ourselves. If this job was something that you couldn't have done you should have communicated with us and said that instead. I do not like the patchwork on my vest and I wasted my money paying you and my vest is now ruined and you left holes in the vest my wife called and even left the voicemail trying to figure out how to make this better and you did not return our call either not only is my vest ruined but you also up charged us to fix the work you did not do properly which was wrong but my wife didn't want to cause problems so she paid you should not ever take a leather job again and you are very unprofessional. This place doesn't even deserve the one star!! I would have never written a review until my phone call on 8/21/13! We rented a suit this past weekend from elegant brides in Prescott valley! We have never been so unhappy and treated so poorly by a local business! First off the whole suit was too big, the event was this past weekend and there was not enough time to keep making trips out to elegant brides! Which who should have to do that anyways? The worker stated she has been doing this for 15 years(so is she saying there is no way this could be her fault) so basically the customer is wrong? The hem was not high enough(either that or she did not sew a good hem) so the pants were stepped on which resulted in a hole. She claims that my brother took the hem out! Let me just say this is a 17 year old BOY that doesn t know the first thing about sewing! After that she changed what she said and said that he had his pants pulled down too low so they were baggy. The whole night he had to keep pulling up his pants because they were not the correct size- yet this is our fault that she didn t measure correctly and sew the hem up high enough! Our whole phone conversation she was interrupting me and being completely unprofessional! She kept telling me NOPE while I was talking! Also when we were picking up the suit they tried to say we ordered shoes and was going to make us pay until finally they realized this was her mistake and there were no shoes ordered on our ticket! The price he paid for the suit and a hat was about $120-this is a suit we get for one day! Now she is charging us for a small hole at the bottom of the pant legs. She has told us 2 different amounts the first charge was $99, and now at $54.00. Is this lady trying to pocket extra money? After fighting back and fourth with the lady we gave up and payed her the $54.00! That is almost $200.00 for a suit that isn't even that great!! I am extremely happy with the service at Elegant Brides! I had a to go in last minute two weeks before my wedding to find a dress. I had a dress on Nordstrom website that I had ordered but last minute they told me it wasn't in stock, so I got the dress in a different color. Not even an hour later they email me saying That one was out of stock as well!

I rushed over to Elegant brides and am extremely happy that my dress and the hemming all together were significantly cheaper. Than the dress I was going to get off Nordstrom! Plus, my fiancè says it must have been destiny since the dress is perfect for me. Sherri helped me pick out a dress, was extremely helpful and gave me different ideas, ordered the dress in the right size (I'm size xsmall - small) had me come in for fittings and I'll be picking it up today. I'm really glad I was able to help out a local store and get amazing customer service in the meantime. I feel bad for having had called her so many times to see if the dress was in or if I could come in for a fitting but I just wanted to be sure it was good to go in time for my flight to Florida next week.

Thank you Sherri for the amazing help.. I have no clue what I would have done otherwise, I'm so picky and tiny it's really hard to find something I lIke since I'm not too fond of big frilly dresses.

If you want to get a dress here, be sure you have enough time for fittings if it's long and you're short like me. It's a small local business and I think the only one in this area so understand you won't be getting your dress that day if it needs to be fitted right or hemmed. Have a little patience, it's not...
