An awful dining experience across the board. We were regulars before the new owners took over and always had exceptional service and food. We have been a couple of times since the new owners took over that were not great, but decided to give it one more try in hopes it would be better. It was the worst of the 3x
We ordered the garlic fries that for $11 was barely a side portion and hardly any garlic. We even asked the server if it was a generous portion and they said yes - it was not. It used to be a huge mound of fries loaded with fresh garlic for $7. The 2 alarm chicken sandwich was small, thin and chewy with barely any sauce. The Bimbap with bulgogi was inedible as the bulgogi had a burnt taste. We barely touched it and our server came over with the check not even asking if everything was okay nor offering a to go box for a meal that was barely touched. Sad to see how much this place...
Read moreBoyyyy, one of my spots I greedily don’t want to tell everyone about lest it somehow become too crowded or forced to increase prices. I’ll risk it to give Ivy its due credit. This has always been my fave spot to come when I’m gonna dine solo, sit at the bar in the corner and get a beer and burger. Their prices are totally reasonable, always have good happy chill music playing, and service has always been 10/10. Everyone’s always friendly and kind in a way that isn’t fake or too much. Just right. Today I got the smashed burger sub cheddar, onions o/s, sweet potato fries and a draft Fiddlehead. Couldn’t be better. Idk if my pic shows it but. These burgers. The fries just...
Read moreThe food was bland, extremely meh, and overpriced. The service was not good. We sat down, put our drink order in, and then what seemed like a friend of the bartender sat down next to us and put his drink order in, lo and behold he got his drink before us. That was a minor annoyance and I was willing to look past it, but then we were waiting for our food, and I saw that the sous chef in the kitchen was repeatedly chewing his finger nails and spitting them out in the kitchen without trying to hide them at all. Thankfully, we only saw him touch the frier, so we didn’t touch our fries. I would avoid this place at all costs, unless if I was a regular who I suppose normally turns a blind eye to disgusting...
