Gale Force Bike Rentals — Local services in Provincetown

We came to PTown for 2 nights over a long weekend. We rented e-bikes for 24 hours. Best idea ever. You simply cannot get around in a car as easily as you can on a bike. I don’t love biking so we opted for e-bikes. Ebikes make me like biking again! You can choose the challenge and most of the time I’m using both leg power and electric power. It makes touring around so much more enjoyable. Plus you can’t park a car anywhere without a huge fee and most of the time the lots and spaces are full. The bikes really saved us. The staff at gale force were friendly and knowledgeable. They made it easy. I reserved online a month in advance since it was for the long weekend. I paid over the phone the day after I reserved. They were ready when we arrived to pick them up. We kept them from 4:30pm Sat thru 4:30 pm Sunday. Wish we had them...

I would give this place 5 stars but when I asked for my credit card imprint back after dropping the bike off I was told it was already shredded. I found this suspicious and unnerving. In the days of credit card fraud I 100% expect them to be shredded in front of me or given back to me. This is the only time I was told it was already shredded.

I was riding in the dunes with friends on a Satuday morning in May 2013. I stopped in on the way back into town since I was having trouble with my rear derailer. It was quiet in the shop and the mechanic took my bike right in, adjusted not only the rear but front derailer in no time flat. He charged me an obscenely low amount and left me as an eternally grateful customer. Made my riding on the Rail Trail the next day a cinch.
