ALDI — Local services in Proviso Township

I live in the area and this the only ALDI that is close to me it’s new and clean but the staff is not as friendly I come inside the store mostly every two weeks when I get paid the store is convenient I normally have my cart and book bag and I go through the store shopping and this day I went and I wasn’t upset about anything I told the employee you all had some bad green bell peppers gave them to him which later he was the manager I take the bus to and leave in a UBER I SHOP IN THE SHOPPING CENTER I had a cart when I checked out I spent $67 when the cashier he kept hitting $64 and I paid the $67 and the cashier said hurry I need the cart back I already had a cart from Aldi but instead of the cashier putting my paid items in my cart he rush me with his cart I said to the cashier why are you so mean when I get a chance I will bring your cart back I went to the rest room and the cashier he was talking badly to a customer about me I heard him I told the manager now today after 5 Sundays I went into the store nervous but shopped and shared with the lady Cashier and she stated that is how that guy cashier is and I told her I shouldn’t have to go to another ALDIs far when I live right here he made me feel bad kinda raciest please allow me to shop in you all store without being followed and look down...

I was SO excited they opened another Aldi here. Very convenient location off of odgen Ave. The store is massive. I don't feel crowded while shopping. Even in the 'Aldi Finds' section with several other shoppers and someone stocking. Their selection of special buys is larger than the several other Aldis I shop. But the kicker is how nice and neat they keep everything. They must have to go through and CONSTANTLY recover that aisle.

Oh! Also, shout out to the employee stocking produce. I asked him if I could steal one of his empty boxes and laughed about how I forgot my quarter. Immediately offered to grab a cart. That Aldi made much more $$$ than they would have had I shopped using that box.😂 But fr great...

The new Aldi is of course clean, well lit and fully stocked with products. All of our favorite Aldi products are there.

The layout and feel of the place and even signage is typical Aldi. One of the biggest improvements over current Aldi locations is a designated self check out space with about six or so stations. This is a separate area from the staff checkout lines.

Got a chance to speak with some of the staff, and they seemed truly friendly, excited to be open and welcome customers, and looking forward to offering some new products.
