Our trip was okay, but not great. Online is definitely the way to go when ordering specific tools from The Home Depot! We went to The Home Depot, looking for a specific Ryobi tool that my husband wanted for his birthday. We arrived on Saturday around 2-2:30pm. The parking lot wasn't very full and we found parking very easily! Our trip was okay, but not great. First off, the Ryobi tools are spread from one end of the store to the other! I can understand putting items on end caps to advertise certain products, but I wish they would then put at least a small number of those tools in the same place as all of the other Ryobi tools. Needless to say, after several trips from one end of the store to the other, after searching and searching and not being able to find an employee to help us, we finally gave up looking in-store and my husband ordered it online. The online process was fast, easy and was delivered in just a couple of days. Online is definitely the way to go when ordering specific tools from The Home Depot! I am disabled and didn't bring my wheelchair. In the past we've visited this particular store and they have always had a wheelchair for customer use. I don't and can't use motorized wheelchairs, because I can't see well enough, my reaction time is quite delayed, and I don't want to run into anything or anyone! 😂 But during this visit the only non-motorized wheelchair was in terrible shape!!!! The foot rests were facing the wrong way and kept slipping down in front of the front wheels if I placed any weight onto or accidentally bumped into them, and it would cause the chair to come to a dead stop right in the middle of the aisle. So I had to place each foot on the top of the metal pipe that the foot rests are attached to after my husband had to man handle the foot rests back into a semi functional position and not hanging down and constantly getting under the front wheels. The chair also looked, smelled, and felt very, VERY dirty!!! I don't think it's been wiped down or disinfected in months, if not longer!

Home Depot for the win! Has everything to finish your projects…. Thanks for having what we need. Contractor or homeowner, you find what you want from gardening to building a shed. And everything in between.

You’ll always find everything you need in here. I liked how friendly the staff is. They are always wondering is you need help and searching for ways to give you ideas. I have gone there several times not sure of what I want to work on a project and the employees there always help me a lot to figure out what is it that I need to buy to do what I want. Their check out system is very fast and they have a great customer service in case you need to make a return. My favorite place of the store is the rental, I think that’s great because if you aren’t doing a lot or big project and just need a certain tool to make something you can just go rent it there and you can have it for the time you need to finish your project. Prices are fine, just what is expected. Also you can use the web page while you are in the store so you can find your items easily, just go to the Home Depot website and search for whatever you are looking for, open the item you want and in there you will be able to find in which aisle you will find the product that you need.

We stood in the shelf check out line for a few minutes waiting for a working check out. Once we rang up and slide our card the machine says “waiting for cashier.” The screen then said “lane closed.” My husband turned around and waited a few minutes for the cashier who was chatting with another cashier. After he got her attention she still wouldn’t walk over to the register she continued to chat. My husband finally clapped his hands and said “excuse me can I get you to come over here and help us please.” She finished her conversation and walked over grabbing the items saying “you will need to walk over to another register and check out!” My husband said “I have already swiped my card and I’ve already waited long enough can you tell me if this has charged my card and print me out a receipt?” Without looking she said “I’m sure it didn’t charge you. Go to another register and have them check you out!” I said we have already paid and we’ve been waiting can you not check to see if the transaction went through and print us a receipt or just ring us up it’s only two items.” She walked away saying “you’ll need to go to a different register.” My husband put the items back down on the floor saying “I will not go to a different register. I just paid and I need a receipt.” She again said “you weren’t charged.” My husband stormed out of the store leaving the items thinking he was not charged. I got him to walk back in to have the customer service desk check that we were not charged. The girl at the service desk went down whispered to the self check out girl then turned saying “nope you haven’t been charged. Have a nice day.” We again walked out. Once in our car my husband checked and his debit had processed for the two items. We went back into the store asking for a manager the same girl was at the service desk with another kid. When we were showing them the transaction on my husbands phone the male attempted taking the phone out of my husbands hands several times. Even after my husband asked him to stop trying to take his phone. He then laughed at my husband and told him to “chill.” Finally the manager came over. He did nothing to see if our transaction was canceled and would not allow us to take our items we were charged for and give us a receipt nor would he cancel the transaction. Even after viewing the processed transaction from Home Depot. The manager obviously has never been trained how to handle customer concerns and shouldn’t be in his position being so incompetent. He told us we had to call our bank and disput the transaction. We are in this store weekly buying things from wood to an ac unit. We have never been treated so rude. Everyone here today was lazy and unwilling to look into the situation. We were charged and went home without the items we were charged for. This will be the last time we will come...

Getting floors purchased and installed through Home Depot is my biggest regret in life thus far. This has been an extremely stressful process and I'll give all my future money to Lowe's. 1. We had to pay for someone to come give us a quote and afterwards, the quote was entirely incorrect. I had to spent an hour on the phone with a rep rewriting it because they included rooms we stated were not getting fixed and added things like moving charges for 6 appliances in the kitchen (who has 6 appliances in their kitchen?). 2. They did not put in the order for our floors and schedule the delivery of the materials correctly which then didn't allow enough time for materials to acclimate so instead of installing on August 13th as promised, it was moved by over 2 weeks to September 4th. This is after we already paid for a week of dog daycare so our dogs would be out of the way, and ripped up the flooring in preparation for installation. Our dogs and toddler have had to live walking around on plywood full of splinters for over two weeks. 3. They stated we did not have to replace baseboards and then later came back and said we did. Then they delivered our materials without the baseboards and tried to charge us a second delivery fee for their mistake. 4. When they delivered materials, they would not bring it in the house or garage and instead dumped it in our driveway and we had to gather a dozen neighbors to help us carry it in before the rain destroyed it. They then charged us a fee for carrying 20 items in when they carried 0 items in. 5. When we called and got delivery set up for the missing baseboards, they never actually set it up. We happened to be in the store later that week and double checked before it was finally set up. Why do we have to manage their employees? 6. The person handling our account was taking notes on sticky notes that she kept on her desk instead of entering them into the system, and then quit which caused the information for our installation to be lost. 7. When they delivered the flooring, three boxes were open and absolutely destroyed. They required us to bring the boxes into the store to get new ones. 8. They delivered and charged us for quadrupled the amount of transition pieces we needed. Why did we pay for a measurement when they obviously can't follow them? 9. We cannot get a hold of the actual installers who are doing the work to get any questions answered. Tons of calls, texts, and voicemails have been ignored. We still haven't even had the floors installed yet and this has already been such a wreck. I imagine there is quite a bit more...

I will NEVER order an appliance from Home Depot EVER again. I ordered a new fridge and upon delivery, the 2 gentlemen told us that the fridge would not fit through our doorway from our living room to the kitchen. I asked if they just removed the doors of the fridge if that would make it fit. They said no that they couldn't remove the doors because then it might not work if they reinstalled them since they are electric. They suggested we remove the door frames to get the fridge through. While my husband and dad were removing the door frames the delivery guys tell me they have to go and just call them and they will come back and install the fridge. Literally 10 minutes after they leave we try calling them and get no response. So I call Home Depot and explain the situation to them and the agent I spoke with tells me that they should have just removed the doors to get it to fit. He then places me on hold to call the delivery service who tell him that they shouldn't have left our house until it was installed and they couldn't get a hold of them so they will be contacting us to reschedule another appointment to come NEXT WEEK to finish installing our fridge.

So now, I have a new fridge sitting in my living room and busted up door frames that didn't need to be taken apart in the FIRST PLACE had they just removed the doors of said fridge. We kept trying to call the delivery guys throughout the day hoping to catch them to come back, but never did. My husband ended up calling his friends to come and help him move the fridge and set it up themselves, which guess what? They had no problem removing the doors and getting the fridge in place. But what did they find when they removed the doors? A ding in the front door and a huge scratch inside the fridge on the drawer. So we have a dinged up fridge, busted doors, and NO WATER LINE because they failed to include that as well.

In the end, we got the fridge in place, Home Depot provided a water line that we had to go and pick up, but that was it. No "sorry for the dings." No, "sorry they had you destroy your house for no reason." No sympathy, no offer to fix our home that didn't need to be destroyed, no refund for the failure to include parts, nothing.

Never again will I order an appliance from here. I will stick with RC Willey who actually takes every precaution and assistance when...
