Our time at As You Wish QC was amazing. We visited as a girl scout troop and our girls earned a badge while we were there! The owners are incredible- she set up a projector and had a presentation all about small businesses. It was well done and interactive- the girls even brought home worksheets they did while there! They learned so much and had a blast!
The atmosphere was calm and relaxed with a nice playlist. At one point it got super busy and the place was full of energy! The pottery is pre-made and there's a great selection of pieces and price ranges to choose from. We were VERY impressed- it was very affordable AND FUN! The girls each painted a unique piece and the color options were awesome too. Many families made pieces for gifts for upcoming holidays.
We had the pleasure of having VENUS and MCKENNA helping out our troop [and our families], both were very patient and helpful and made our experience here so much fun. When we picked up our pieces the young ladies were great, they wrapped our pieces and labeled each of them. They remembered us and were just as excited as we were about our pottery pieces! The girl scouts had a blast and so did the families! We hope to return again for another badge in the future! Thank you so much for making this such an incredible experience! We'll definitely be back soon- I know my kids are asking to go...
Read moreWhat a fantastic place and fun craft. We decided to check out As You Wish for a Mom Date and it was a perfect place to hang out, chat and do a fun craft.
The experience was great from the moment I walked through the door. They directed me to the pottery wall to pick out the item I wanted to craft and then led us to our reserved table. It was super easy making and appt online to reserve a time and table.
Once we picked out our pottery they allowed us to pick out our idea and colors and get situated and then came over and did a paint talk to guide us on making the best paint pottery. They gave recommendations on colors and styles and also talked to us about layers. They even helped us print our ideas off and taught us how to trace our design onto the plate.
After we were done it only took 3 days for the firing of the kiln and then we were able to pick up our items. They also hold them for 3 weeks so you don’t have to rush.
Big Shout Out to Brittany at the Queen Creek location - her customer service went above and beyond when she brought my items to my car so I didn’t have to wake my sleeping baby to pick up....
Read moreI have painted at basically all the valley locations from up off the 17 to Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Ahwatukee (long time ago). I was so excited for QC! Went on Sunday. I just picked up our 5 items- I’ve never had an employee wrap them up in front of me with ink dates still written on them and masking tape. She told me to just use a wet cloth to wipe the dates off at home. I was not early for pick up either. The items were on the display shelves behind the counter. About our experience- I wish they would have sectioned off the tables a bit better like Chandler. There were 2 parties going on and every table was full- so loud everyone was yelling at one another at each table. The employees should really spend a day training at other locations. I know it’s still new in QC- but between our paining day and pick up day- they are not trained up to the other locations...
