We recently visited the Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre for a Monster truck show. It was our first time at the venue and first time at a monster truck show. My family of 4 and nephew had a great time. Despite it being practically summer in Az it was considerably cool inside the arena. Finding the place was super easy and parking was decent. My only complaint was, we purchased a VIP family pack which we paid extra for and were not able to sit in the VIP area due to overcrowding. I do not know if this was the fault of the venue or ticket company. But we were not the only ones who had this issue. We did end up finding a row of open seats that fit our group that were in the section right behind the VIP area. So it wasn't a terrible difference but with that being said it was still a bit annoying that we paid for a ticket that we were not honored upon arrival. The kids still had a great time as did we, and they did allow in water bottles despite the website saying no food or drinks permitted.
I would highly recommend this place to others and will return in the future. Perhaps just arrive early to assure...
Read moreI attended a HS graduation here. There were thousands of people there. Therebis special parking close to the bleachers for handicapped traffic. It was useful for grandpa who was able to arrive with his van load before we who parked farther away got inside. My grandfather is handicapped, and there were no seats close to him when we arrived. Although, there was a wheelchair seating area. The bathrooms are kind of far for a potty training child. My four year old, who has been potty trained for a while, barely made it. There is a lot of space in the arena. There are no outer walls. The roof is huge. They have some giant ceiling fans, but we still needed hand held fans to cool off. And we were offered ones with the school logo on them. Wear closed toed shoes. It is a rodeo...
Read moreWe came here because we saw a sign for free admission to events. It was just a cutting competition but it was pretty cool. The venue is nicely arranged and the food truck was great. Parking was simple.
The reason for the 1 star review is because we arrived in our RV planning to use the public dump that recently opened. It was easy to find with signage however it was completely backed up. As soon as we connected it started overflowing and we had to close our valves. We attempted the second station as well and had the same problem. So we spent $30 for nothing and there was no one to help with a refund. We called the sani-dump number listed as well as the campground office number listed on website and no one...
