I ordered Bright Smiles flowers for my sister's birthday from Ava Florist. When the flowers were delivered, it was from Clifford's Flowers (not Ava's Florist). The bouquets were so dramatically different (the bouquet I ordered is the first one on the left and the one she received is the second one on the right). It was so drastically different that I did not recognize the order. I called Clifford's who seemed to not even know what the "Bright Smiles" arrangement was suppose to look like. They had to search for a picture of the arrangement and then proceeded to tell me that I agreed to substitutions in the arrangements. When I explained that these "substitutions" were not as advertised, I was told that my ordered flowers will be arranged and sent to tomorrow and the wrong arrangement needed to be returned. There was no efforts made to correct the error. I spoke to Ava's Florist and discussed that I was not aware that the flowers were coming from Clifford's Flowers and only offered 10% discount on the incorrect delivery. I should have received a full discount on the order. I will never order from "Clifford's" again or any of its affiliates and I suggest prospective customers do the same. (Revision: for some reason google is not allowing me to post a photo of the Bright smiles arrangement that I actually ordered. It is only allowing me to post a photo of the arrangement I received which looked nothing like the...
Read moreMy 1800flowers order was serviced through Clifford's, and I received a bouquet that looked NOTHING like the order. I did get a partial refund for my order, and understand that these local florists work with what they have for a specification, but I can only assume they purposefully disregarded their customers' wishes when preparing my wife's pink Mother's Day bouquet (or they're color blind). I received a green & white bouquet in a green vase, without a hint of pink. If Clifford's couldn't service my order properly (due to supply issue of pink flowers, for example) I would have appreciated a phone call, and would have even accepted a delay of a day or two past Mother's day, not a blatant disregard of what the bouquet was supposed to look like, and a "just stuff it full of green stuff" attitude towards fulfilling the order. In addition, they notified me that they had delivered it a day earlier than they actually did, which left me searching around my porches on Saturday evening to try to find this bouquet that wasn't actually delivered...
Read moreReally quite disappointing. I placed an order through 1800-flowers that was fulfilled by Clifford's. Now I understand that 1800-flowers has the standard disclaimer that local florists may make substitutions but honestly the difference between what was promised and what was delivered is night and day, and some of the responsibility must fall on Clifford's as the local vendor. The pictures speak for themselves. Perhaps I would have had a better experience ordering directly from the source, but it's not something I am willing to risk in the future given that they seem to specialize in arrangements that look like something you could pick up at the grocery store or a gas station (for a much lower price, by the way). I would not recommend that others take the risk, either.
Update, 6/3/2021: The florist provided a replacement along with an apology card. The replacement is more similar to what...
