Faxon Park — Attraction in Quincy

Faxon Park is a solid place for outdoor activities. The trails are mostly clean, but I did notice some litters and a few glass shards on the trails. There are several parking lots throughout the park, which makes access easy from different areas.

The sports facilities are excellent. I noticed a lot of well-maintained football field, baseball field, basketball court, and table tennis tables. The highlight for me is the 8 pickleball courts, which are super clean and available to Quincy residents on a first-come, first-served basis. Plus, there’s a parking lot right next to the pickleball area.

Picnic areas are hit or miss. One was clean and well-kept, while another looked run-down and had an overflowing trash can nearby. They are also far from a lot of sports facilities.

Great place to get started with disc golf. It's very short, but the tees are all nice concrete pads. The baskets are easy to see and the signage makes it easy to stay on course. Someone really cares about this park...
