Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Radcliff

This is for the Radcliff Kentucky location of Ollie's. I used to really like this location but over the past several months prices have been raised. I drove about an hour from my home to visit this location because the prices we're so much cheaper than other Ollie's and surrounding stores and I would get certain shampoos and other items from there so I know what price that they had compared to what the prices are now. I would plan a day to visit and also do some grocery shopping nearby to get the best bang for my buck gas wise as well, but with the rise in prices it seems I'm no longer saving anything. I noticed last year a steep rise in prices at the Bowling Green location but prices seem stable at the Radcliff location until recently. They are a Bargain Outlet so they receive seconds, discontinued items, out of season, Etc so you never quite know what they will have but certain items they seem to have regularly. A good place for finding books at a decent price, they are cheaper than Barnes & Noble. I don't know that I will visit this location much in the future with the rise of the prices unless I need something specific that I know I can't get elsewhere cheaper or I'm looking for...

Great prices! Though expect to a bit of chaos in the merchandise as they are constantly getting new items! (That's the whole reason for the discounted prices on items- they buy other stores name brand,overstocked products, for really discounted prices- then they are able to then sell those items to public for not quite the same discount prices, and they keep the profits) Some items are still just not worth it. But, if you take a look around, some things really are a real bargain! For example: One of the many items they almost ALWAYS have, is K-cups compatible coffee of several different flavors. (I myself am partial to dark Italian roasts, and ALL of the brands there have been bold and delicious!) But the price for 80 K-cups is $25!!! YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT THAT!! They have just about anything you need. I was amazed how many bargains I found there! Micro fiber sheet sets, Copper cookware, area rugs, Salon quality hair care, Zendoodle adult coloring books, craft supplies, pet care products...I could go on and on.. just go check it out for yourself and see. I was just in this store and I feel like it is unfair to customers and abuse to employees to have to work in this store! There is no air conditioning in this store and it literally made me sick to be in there less than five minutes I cannot imagine how employees feel. I also over heard what I take was a manger behind closed doors being very cold and rude to an employee who looked as if he was about to fall over from heat stroke. So while she is sitting comfy in her office which I bet has some sort of air in it she wants to treat employees badly and not get out on floor and get the situation with the air fixed. Just because of that lady and the heat I will not be back at this store! I hope that young man finds him a better job with much more empathetic bosses. He and the other employees deserve way better than the manager they have. I mean come on Ollie’s, I spend thousands of dollars a year in your stores and this is how you make us feel comfortable.
