DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KIMBRELL'S! I purchased furniture and when arrived at my home the quality was much different and I was completely dissatisfied. Before the movers even got to the first floor I contacted the manager Katie and was told that I shouldn't of signed for it, it was mine now, and she was not sure of the return policy. I requested to speak with corporate and spoke to the manager Carol Faircloth who was extremely rude and disrespectful and told me that N.C does not require them to offer a refund policy and that I was stuck with the furniture because I could have bed bugs and that the furniture is now considered used (even though I notified the movers and the company within minutes of delivery). I told Carol that I would be filing a complaint with the consumer protection agency and the BBB and she stated "that's fine just make sure you tell the truth, that you got a discount on the furniture." (I purchased the furniture at 25% during there annual sale and every customer received this discount this day). I've reached out to the VP of the company and hopefully I can get my money back and they can collect this horrible quality furniture, please save your money. I purchase a bed at Kimbrells Store. I made a complaint In October about the bed sinking in and we only had had the bed after 2 months. So I was concerned about it due to the fact that my husband has back problem and it was affecting him and me. Someone came out to look at it, and I was told that the bed was going to be replaced because it was damaged. Weeks have passed and we haven’t heard anything. I went to Kimbrells and spoked with the manager Chris Bell, and he told me that there was nothing wrong with the bed even though he was holding the report in he's hands saying the opposite. He also said “if you are not happy with the bed change it with your sister if you don’t like the way if feels”. As I tried to work to correct the problem I was informed by an employee of Kimbrells that the bed that I purchased was not the bed that was delivered to me. I went into the store and picked out a firm mattress and what I received was a soft one. On many occasions I have tried to speak with someone without any success. Sales associate knew what t furniture that was in inventory there at the building, on the sales floor, and what would need to be ordered from third party entity. This impressed me. sales associates and finance associate. They explained everything and my mom was even given $50 because she was suggested by a friend and she purchased furniture of course. Sales and clearance were suggested. Allowed my mom to set her monthly payment price at a manageable budget since she’s on a fixed income. They also have layaway for those who don’t know.
