Midtown Park Townhomes — Local services in Raleigh

I am using this review as a last resort since my previous attempts to address the issues have been ineffective. I am a new resident, and it has been almost 2 months since I moved in. Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience with the apartment so far. On my moving day, June 29th, the lease was violated because the place was not ready for me to move in. They were changing my floor, and I was unable to move in as stated in the lease. Additionally, when I was finally able to move in, the apartment was dirty due to the prior work done on the floor. On July 3rd, I went to the office to report several issues with the apartment. I was told they were going to be fixed, but still to this day, the issues remain the same. I went back on August 9th to report the same issue again, and still, nobody has come to fix it. The apartment seems to be in a budget. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place to live to anybody. I'm almost two months into the lease, and I can't wait for it to be over so I can move. This is beyond anything I've seen before in my years of renting. I want to be clear this review is more about the property itself (Midtown Park TownHomes ), not necessarily mgmt. Although I will say in the few years I've been here, mgmt. has changed several times. The property as a whole is in need of several updates, especially for what they are currently charging. When I moved in back in 2020, there we several things I was willing to over look(mainly because the rent was moderately priced) like no vent in main bathroom, poorly painted kitchen cabinets, worn or missing weather stripping on front and back doors, cracks in front and back doors, worn down back patio & poor drainage in the parking lot. However now that they choose to be competitive in pricing especially due to location, the property needs to rise to meet these expectations and we, the residents, would feel as if we were getting what we are paying for. Now for some pros: maintenance has responded quickly to my issues and whenever I have interacted with mgmt., they have always been professional. All in all, nice people but overpriced property.
