I along with my wheelchair bound mom went to Target located Triangle Towne Center to purchase some clothes and other items. We brought our own shopping bag and decided to buy a new shopping bag at the register to carry our items out. Cashier Nicholas advised me that if he got too backed up I would have to help him bag up my items. ? I asked why wouldn't you simply scan the item and bag as you go. He proceeds to tell me I don't understand what he is saying and repeats himself. So again I ask why not scan and bag. Then he stated I am getting an attitude. I stated no I am simply asking why we would go through all of that. However I advised the attitude is coming from his direction. He continues being rude and providing poor customer service. I say maybe I should get in another line and he says maybe you should because he was not going to serve me. So I say no get a manager. When manager Bonnie arrives and I advise her of the matter I ask if the policy has changed. I shop at this store regularly and have never experienced this type of poor service. Does the customer who brings in their own bags ; and purchased one at the time of checkout now have to bag their own items? She stated no that it was no problem to handle. So Nicholas states can Bonnie complete the transition. Then he proceeds to continue to make comments to me. In which Bonnie continues to call his name and tell him to stop talking. I advised him to stop speaking to me. Bonnie handled the matter but was not very apologetic of the situation. This sadly is what customer service looks like now. The server is doing you a favor for spending your money at their establishment....
Read moreThis used to be a really nice Target. Now it's staffed by lazy "workers" who don't care at all. I went to buy a Blu-ray player that showed as in stock. The electronic section was in such disarray that I couldn't find any Blu-ray players. So, I asked the employee behind the counter in the electronics department, who was wearing a Target Tech shirt, where the Blu-ray players are. He acted like I was bothering him and said I'd have to ask someone in a red shirt. I didn't know why he would even be needed there if he couldn't help with a basic question such as where an item is in the department he's working in, but ok, I went and found a red shirt worker. She also seemed bothered that I was interrupting her day of getting paid to do absolutely nothing useful, and wouldn't even turn her head to look at me when responding. She said they don't carry Blu-ray players. When I told her the website showed them in stock at this location, she said if they had them, they'd be somewhere in the electronics department. Unbelievable. I then looked around through the unkept aisles until I located the player I came for. The price was significantly higher than what was on the Target app, so I returned to the Target tech worker to ask if they match the online price of their own app. He said he can't help me, and I needed to go to the workers at the front registers. At that point, I just put the player back and left. If either of those workers are getting paid anything, it's too much. They were absolutely worthless. Needless to say, I'll never return to...
Read moreI came here to buy an Xbox series X after reading online that they had 1 in stock at his location. When I arrived the tech department refused to sell it to me as it is apparently only available for online purchase due to theft issues. They directed me to customer service who refused to sell it to me as well. I attempted to purchase it online with their guidance and was unable to do that as well. When I brought this to their attention they responded that there aren’t any in stock. It still is showing that there is one in stock at this location. I offered to make payment upfront since they were so concerned about someone possibly stealing it but they said that wouldn’t be possible as all Targets only receive online orders now.
Two out of the four people I spoke with were extremely rude and dismissive towards me. I really couldn’t believe what I was seeing in here. It was giving me some Walmart vibes.
After leaving I went to the Six forks Rd Target location and bought my Xbox there instead with no issues and outstanding customer support. I paid for it over the register in the tech department like I have many times in the past for tech items.
I am still very confused as to why I was...
