Now, when you step in, there’s a mannequin chilling there, right at the entrance. Bruh, I legit thought it was security at first and almost said, “Good evening, officer.” Turns out, it’s just doing its thing, promoting clothes and accessories. Bit of a curveball, but hey, it adds character, I guess?

The store itself? Spacious. Like, finally, a Mediterranean market where you don’t have to side-shuffle down every aisle like you’re in a game of Tetris. They’ve got a butcher in the back who’s not only super friendly but also seems to genuinely care about hooking you up with exactly what you’re looking for. That dude is the MVP back there.

Stock-wise, this spot is stacked! They’ve got goodies from all over the world—snacks, spices, drinks—you name it. If you’re feeling adventurous, this is the place to test your taste buds and see what hits.

But now, let’s talk about the real star of the show: the customer service. There’s this one young dude working the front who’s absolutely killing it. My guy is proactive, funny, and always ready to recommend something or help you find what you need. Every time I see him, he’s got that energy that just makes your day better. Someone give this man a raise or at least a gold star sticker because he’s out here doing the most in the best way possible.

Dukkan Mediterranean Market is an amazing jewel in North Raleigh! I am so happy they finally opened near Triangle Town Center and Target. Went in the first week and met owner and family, they are very nice and helpful. We needed a Mediterranean / Middle Eastern market in this area with fresh halal meat and grocery with variety of products and super service. The store is beautiful, clean and feels like you find unique treasures in each aisle. The jars of olive oil, olives, pickles and vegetables were mesmerizing, along with the variety of teas, candies, rice, cookies, juices, spices, breads, frozen vegetables, snacks, and meats like halal beef bacon and halal beef and chicken hot dogs and burgers, and dairy items. Per the owner an expanded selection of produce, fresh breads and meats are coming soon. Beautiful store, friendly staff and helpful service. They made sure I found what I needed and also asked me what else I would like to see there. Be sure to let them know if you are looking for something in particular or certain items or brands you would like them to carry. I was delighted to find many diverse products and brands including Turkish, Lebanese, Jordanian, Palestinian, Indian, Persian, and Pakistani grocery items and more. So close and convenient to the North Raleigh masjid. I will be shopping here...

Disappointing Experience and Poor Communication!

I had a very frustrating experience at this halal store that I feel compelled to share. As a 38-week pregnant woman, I called ahead to confirm they had the specific meat I needed. After being assured they had it in stock, I made the trip to the store, expecting a smooth transaction.

Upon arrival, I was faced with a long line of customers, which meant I had to wait for almost 20 minutes. I understand that stores can be busy, but being heavily pregnant made this wait particularly uncomfortable.

When I finally reached the counter, I was informed that they hadn’t had the meat I was looking for all day. This was incredibly disappointing, especially since I had called beforehand and was assured it was available. It felt like a complete waste of my time, and I can't help but feel that the salesperson misled me just to get me in the store.

I believe that clear communication is key in any business, especially in the food industry where customers rely on accurate information. I won’t be returning to this store in the future, and I hope they can improve their customer service to prevent this from...
