A gorgeous train station fitting for a city like Raleigh. The renovations have a good job making this feel like a -place- and not just a platform at street level. Inside you'll find a clean spankin' interior, plenty of seating, plenty of outlets, really clean bathrooms, and a growing number of things to do while you wait (Wine and Design is already there). Outside you'll find a mostly easy traffic flow -- it's a one way loop you get to once you've done it. TIP: Parking can be a little tight but actually exiting back to the intersection gives you more options (especially for long term).
The best part though is the location. Right in the center of some revitalization, some really good restaurants and distractions are easily accessible just by walking. It makes it easy for visitors to come in and meet their friends SOMEWHERE ELSE instead of needing a direct pickup. Nothing like meeting your friends for drinks...
