Been going for over a year
Members: 5 Stars The people in the gym are positive and friendly. There’s always someone willing to help you out. There’s a good gym etiquette present that makes the atmosphere welcoming.
Equipment: 4 Stars For free weights and assorted benches there’s a good variety. As for all the machines there’s usually multiple depending on the muscle group. Except some are older than others and there tends to be a more popular machine. There’s a few older machines that get the job done too, they just need to be tweaked a bit.
Personal Trainers: Edit: 4 Stars (Old rating: 2) Edit: This aspect improved since I first wrote the review. The main personal trainers that would act or train clients in the following manner are no longer here. So now I would say the personal trainers left here work know what they’re doing and provide great training to their clients. Old review: Compared to other gyms I’ve been to with personal trainers, this one isn’t the best. I’d say 60% of the trainers know what they’re doing and don’t do the following. The other 40% lack the gym etiquette to return/clean equipment after using it. For a full hour session it seems like some clients get at most a warmup workout with coaching. There’s an apparent lack of personnel space and professionalism when Men are training Women clients but when it comes to their men clients that changes. If being hands on is a training style they approach then why isn’t it the same for there Male clients?
Cleanliness: 5 Stars The owner and staff keep the place very clean! The people stay on top of cleaning equipment after using it and making sure the locker rooms stay clean.
Price: 3 Stars There have been other gyms with better price ranges $30-$40. To be fair it’s dependent on the area. Sort of in the middle ground as not bad but not...
Read moreThis isn't a gym, it's a holy place for weightlifters. Its a place where people come to work on their bodies as well as their self esteem, and it shows. Everyone in this gym, regardless of where they are, is hustling. There's no room and place for BS or Instagram vanity, just forwarding their physique. Its no surprise the back wall is littered with weightlifting and competition bodybuilding trophies. Pretty reflective of those working out here.
This is the type of gym Arnold Schwarzenegger talked about in the bodybuilding encyclopedia as an ideal place for mental and physical fitness. The perfect gym atmosphere.
I've been lifting weights for 15+ years and for the $30-something I pay a month, it's a steal. The owner is a former wrestler and he is nitpicky about a few rules, but not without good cause. I'd highly recommend putting this gym on your list if you care about being fit and go to the gym to...
Read moreI was just looking for a day pass. This gym blew me away. The equipment is up to date and the powerlifting room is so nice. This gym has the most cables I’ve ever seen. Then people are so friendly. Miriam was very nice and helpful. The cleanliness is excellent. I even saw them move/lift machines to vacuum underneath. If I lived here I would make this my home gym! Great...
