Marshalls — Local services in Rancho Palos Verdes

I'm giving it a star because I can't give it 0 stars! This is the worst Marshall That I came. Kathy, who is the manager was soooo racist. She did not want to accept the return of some shoes I had bought two weeks ago. She explained that I did not have a receipt but when the clients do not have the receipt the employees give us a card to buy in the store instead of money. she was super racist. when she saw that I had an accent she told me "what language do you speak?" when I was speaking perfectly English to her. I explained to KATHY that if I did not have the receive she should give me a card exclusively to buy in the store. and the other cashier told me y that was was gonna give it to if she accepted it. and I told her that it wasn't work like that because the store had its policies and she had to respect them. and the other cashier kept saying no, she was going to give me the card if she wanted to, and if she did not want to, she would not give it to me. Kathy, who is the manager, said that I did not speak English and of course I speak English! She was racist because I have accent when I speak and therefore did not want to accept the return of shoes. the store that I know the most is marshall because there I buy 95% of clothes and shoes. I know how this works!

I love this place. Sure there are plenty of pricey items,and dresses that I would never wear. But there are usually cute dresses and sweaters at a great price, that I love. My problem tends to be that I came here for 2 dresses and found 8 that fit, and are the right price. I also have purchased pretty decent quality towels,and sheets here. The kitchenware area has great deals as well. I normally don't like Marshalls /Ross type stores, cause some shoppers are like feral swine and just come in like a tornado,leaving merchandise on the floor,in random places where they don't belong,or leave opened ,empty packages behind, stains on clothes, blah,blah,blah. I have seen these issues at this store location, but it is rare. Which is great, I really like that it is a clean, maintained store. I won't even bother going to certain locations,cause I don't feel like sifting through a store that looks like a cyclone just hit it in certain areas. This store doesn't have that issue, it is consistently a pleasant...

There is a staff member that stole my gift card and used the balance. I made the purchase using two gift cards. Even though one of gift cards had eighty dollars, the big, Hispanic woman threw away the two cards in the trash. I managed to tell her I need the card with the balance but it turns out she gave me card with $0 and she kept the card with $80. I went home and saw the balance and then later that day the $80 became $0.

Beware shoppers. I have had one of those Marshall's credit card and one of the staff used my credit card numbers at a remote Marshall's location before but worker stealing gift card and using it for their own?

I used to love coming to this location and shopped here over 15 times.
