NJ Battle Zones — Local services in Randolph Township

We had our child’s party at this location this weekend. The experience was mostly pleasant. The female working at the check in/out desk was very nice. We arrived 15 minutes earlier than the schedule time as we were asked to do, and we were brought into the arena at the scheduled time. The male staff coordinating the battle zone arena were excellent. They were very attentive, active, and kind, which was wonderful for 10 very active boys. However, the female staff who were helping in the party room seemed less than thrilled to be there. One of the staff members seemed more annoyed than the other which was very apparent in her facial expression, constant sighs, and body language. To the point to where several guests asked if there was an issue because the annoyance was very clear. The party seemed to have been running smoothly, so I’m not sure what the actual issue was. That was quite disappointing as it made me and my guest feel like a disturbance. I like the facility well enough, but I’m not sure that I would return or recommend this location to...

We just had our sons birthday party here and it was a blast. From booking and planning, right through the actually party, this place made it easy to set everything up. The staff was wonderful and my son said it was his best party ever. I would agree. I had to take one star off though. One of our guest had a younger sibling they had to bring, that did not partake in any of the activities. However we received an additional charge because she sat at the tables with the other kids and had a slice of pizza (which we ordered plenty extra of). I respectfully disagree with that charge. Just held my 4th grader’s birthday party here (9 and 10 year olds) and they all had a blast. The staff are lovely and patient, and spent a ton of time and effort making sure everyone knew how the equipment worked, trading out nerf guns, and handling a rowdy group of 20! They were pro’s. This was the best behaved I’ve ever seen this group; they were fascinated and entertained, and loved it.

It’s a novel place and super fun for the kids (and the adults who joined for an epic parents v. kids battle!) And we heard that on multiple car rides home this was in everyone’s “top 10 experiences of...
