Love this place! If you haven’t visited here yet, it’s a must! Ask them about the “Roux Spoon!” I got myself several and bought some as gifts! This roux spoon fits in the jar of roux, you can use it to cook and scoop out ice cream also... here’s the kicker, ALL WITHOUT BENDING IT! So if you’re tired of bending spoons for roux, get yourself a few! I also found those durable vintage white bowls that my grandmother used to have! They have such a variety of unique items but one of the best things is the friendly service!!! Such a helpful and respectful staff! I am so glad this place is close to home!

Wonderful experience We stopped at Garry matte hardware. We were in Rayne for the day from bridge city Texas. We had to see the store and to get some of Hal’s Cajun spices. Hal cordially helped us pick out a few of her spices 10 minutes before they closed mind you. (I have followed hal on face book. She has inspired me to make some great Cajun meals) We had made her spaghetti tonight. So delicious. Get ya some!!! We will be making a trip back to Rayne soon To experience all the goodies in the store.
