The Way 2 Thrift — Local services in Rayne

I love the thrift stores but I love what the purpose behind them even more. This is a great program to rehabilitate those with addictions and bring them to the path of righteousness of God. It also puts them in a working environment to be able to learn a trade for whenever they graduate the program which also supports the way and it's program. Many have gone through technical college to learn a career through this program. The store and the people that work in them are absolutely wonderful. They are always happy to see you and always friendly and willing to work with you. If you like thrifting then visit one of its many locations, they have a location in Crowley, Rayne ,Jennings, Eunice ,and now Opelousas. I have been visiting Way 2 Thrift here in Rayne weekly. I am a hobby thrifter and have filled my home with antiques and vintage items that have mostly been thrifted. This Way 2 Thrift is my favorite because of their unique selection of items. My most current favorites are a E Constantine Martini glass from the 1950s, a pair of leather heels in my size from the 1980s, a stauette of the Evangeline statue in St. Martinville, a handmade cypress chess board with all the pieces, a mid-century chair, and lots and lots of other things. Aaron, who works at the front, is very friendly and welcoming to everyone who visits. They are very reasonably priced and I love their mission. WATCH WHAT U BUY! EXAMINE IT FROM 1 END TO THE OTHER! I was sold something that was way over priced for the damage,which I failed to see b4 I paid for.The mgr refused to refund or reduce the price.This is supposed to be a christian based place,but the bible is clear on not defrauding anyone.Over all I've had good experiences here, but this incident really soured me on the...
