I went in 10 minutes after opening this morning, And I was looking for a Stitch Easter blanket that only Marshalls carries. Upon arriving I spoke to a very nice worker who told me that she had just put out a couple of them and was going to show me where they were. The lady started looking through the area that she literally just put them and we couldn't find them. Looking around the corner from where the blankets were there's a heavy set woman that is literally in there from opening to closing everyday that takes all of the stuff that the true fans love and resells it. She literally had three of the blankets in her cart sitting on the furniture in the isle. Not only is she breaking down the furniture that is for sale but she there all day sitting on it! I asked the woman if I can have one or even buy one from her and she refused, literally laughing at me as tears filled my eyes. I am a true fan and I don't think it's fair that Marshalls is allowing this woman to go in, block the entrance, sit there with two of her friends all day waiting for the stuff that goes out to turn around and resell it. There needs to be an item limit or a time limit in the store. It's not fair to the local residents to have to drive to other cities to find their beloved character items because this woman sits in the store all day and takes all of them. This has been ongoing for months and something needs to be...
Read moreI would love to give this Marshall’s a 5 star rating, but I had to take two stars for either the key carrier/ASM. The cashier was very friendly and helpful, I wish I could remember her name. On 12/12/19 on reg 6 (at 1500 hours) I went up to purchase a few items and wanted to use my rewards certificate. The cell service in this Marshall’s is terrible, so I was at the counter for much longer than I needed to be trying to get my certificate up. My app wasn’t working and I was a little embarrassed up there trying to buy my 3 items and taking so long. Once I was able to find my email giving the details of my certificate, I asked the cashier if they could put the information in manually, since I was not able to long in and show a barcode. The key carrier/ASM kept giving me short answers and an attitude the entire time. She responded to the cashier, to my question, in a quick response of no. Which I knew they were able to do this, but since I was in a rush it seemed like this wasn’t the best time to argue with this lady. So I ended up purchasing the items without my rewards certificate. I have been shopping at Marshall’s for many years now, I love the prices and products, so this was very...
Read moreThis is my favorite Marshall’s to go to. They’re always well stocked with items. Although, everytime I do go here, there is a lady that always sits at the store by the entrance or amongst the carts where employees are stocking— all day she’s there. As the other reviewer stated, she’s a reseller. I always hear her telling her stories to the employees about getting into arguments with other customers for stuff. I mean, I get it; I come here to buy stuff for myself or for gifts, but she’s there to buy stuff to resell for a higher mark-up. I would be upset as a customer, especially if the employees favor her and give her first dibs. She’s actually called out to me during one shopping trip, asking what item was in my hands. At the time, I thought she was just some random customer waiting for a friend & I was caught off guard, so I showed her. She should not be harassing customers in the store. Since I know who she is & what she’s there for, I avoid her now. I still like to come here cuz I always find cool things, but that reseller-lady is something that’s always annoyed me...
