Extended Stay America Suites- Redlands — Hotel in Redlands

I am writing to express my serious concerns about the ongoing issues at this location. Unfortunately, this business has shown a lack of respect for its guests in several ways, and I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes that it can lead to improvements.

First and foremost, there is a severe lack of privacy for guests here. The staff openly discusses private matters of guests, including sensitive information, without any regard for confidentiality. Additionally, new management was brought in, but they have done nothing to address the concerns raised by guests. Instead, they have gone directly to employees, taking their side of the story without properly listening to the guests who have raised legitimate complaints. Even when escalating issues to higher management, there was no resolution. It's clear that the lack of accountability here is alarming, and it seems like the business is headed toward legal trouble.

There have been numerous incidents at this location, including assaults, burglaries, and sexual assaults. Management seems to be actively trying to suppress this information from guests, but rumors and word of mouth have made it clear what's happening behind the scenes. It's unsettling, and I urge anyone considering staying here to be aware of the situation.

The staff at the front desk, with a few exceptions, is incredibly unprofessional. While Michael, Kaylee, and Brianna are exceptions and provide some level of decent service, the daytime staff--Shay and Brenden--are lazy and often neglect their duties. This lack of professionalism extends throughout the facility, with hallways smelling foul, carpets that are dirty and stained, and linens and towels that often go days without being washed. When I requested clean towels, I was told there were none available, even though the staff seemed to be doing nothing at the front desk.

Maintenance is also a major concern. There are rooms with broken breaker panels that will cause the power to shut off completely. Maintenance staff, however, seem to be inexperienced and unable to fix even simple issues like lightbulbs.

There is also a significant safety concern with the presence of drug activity around the building. The homeless population in the area often targets this location for shelter, which only adds to the ongoing problems with safety and security. There is a serious lack of control over the property, and it seems the staff and management are either overwhelmed or indifferent to the issues.

Finally, I encountered a particularly disturbing issue when I found a bloody pad in the stairwell. I reported it three times before it was finally addressed, which speaks volumes about the staff's lack of attention to cleanliness and guest care.

In short, I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances. The building is plagued with numerous safety and cleanliness concerns, and the lack of professional training and management oversight makes this an unsafe and unpleasant environment. This location could be a good place with the right leadership and staffing, but until then, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Full-time security is needed immediately, as the activity in and around the building is excessive and unsafe.

RUN !! DO NOT STAY HERE unless you’re OK with the roaches crawling on you while you’re sleeping our headboards are infested with cockroaches. They’re crawling on the walls in the hallways on the floors! Mattresses covered in human blood and bodily fluids Hallway carpets covered in pet urine feces, hair, trash, trash liquid, and the smell of marijuana is unbearable , Maribel the assistant manager uses household bleach, and strong toxic chemicals to mop the floors in the hope to mask the smell in the hallways. The police are called here on a regular basis. They found over 100 pounds of marijuana and one of the hotel rooms. Mold, broken pipes, clogged sinks, and bathtub Open windows and doors 24 hours a day, broken card, scanners, homeless and looters hanging around the property at all hours there’s no safety no security The most unprofessional, rude and disrespectful management starting with corporate all the way to the hotel management and some of the staff When I complained, the property manager Paula terminated my stay and called the police on me with the false police report, which is a criminal offense, threatening my freedom trying to silence me and then serve me with the three day notice to stop complaining The walls are very thin the upstairs neighbors have three children and a dog and allow their children to ride scooters run, and chase the dog in the room at all hours complaining to Saul the property manager, and Andre the hotel manager is a total waste of time they refused to do anything about it and began to retaliate, harass, and disrespect me. Assistant manager, Maribel discusses my personal and private financial information to hotel, staff and guests. She’s spreading rumors and lies about my being a racist, which caused me to have my life threatened by one of the guests. Broken refrigerator caused over $500 in food to spoil management refused to do anything about it but they retaliate and harass instead ! Homeless and looters around the property at all hours no safety no security, open windows 24 hours a day I’ve complained for the last six months and nothing has been done except for more retaliation and harassment! They are in a class action lawsuit because of these inhumane inhabitable disgusting living conditions that they subject their guest to if you’ve been affected by this hotel, please add your name to the list so they can be held accountable for their criminal actions! My attorneys and I are seeking legal actions! They have many residents currently living in this hotel in litigation because of the above reasons! Warning do not stay in this hotel!!||Horrible roach infestation!!||Leaky pipes, mold, filthy hallway, carpets infested with animal feces in urine and the hallway smell like marijuana constantly, no Security open doors 24 hours a day!||Unprofessional management company unprofessional management in the hotel!||Homeless loitering the property trash all over the property. The cops are called out on a daily basis.||I have been staying here for six months while waiting for my Home to be ready to move back into and it has been a nightmare. I’ve been sleeping with roaches crawling on me at night because my headboards were infested with roaches. ||My family and I have been sleeping on mattresses full of human blood and human bodily fluids. When the staff made the manager, Andre aware of the problem he advised them to put a second mattress cover on the mattresses. ||The neighbor upstairs from me has three children that ride scooters in the room and running at all hours of the night. I have complain to the property manager the hotel management and they’re refusing to do anything about it.
