My special needs/cognitively impaired adult stepson is a huge fan of the army- so much so that he insists on wearing camo pants every day! We bought several sturdy, not-inexpensive pairs from a merchant through Amazon, and after about 10-12 months of regular wear, they all blew out around the back right pocket, but otherwise were fine, so I tried taking them to a couple different alterations businesses in the area for repair. All turned me away, saying they were not repairable. It wasn't until I took them to Tempo Fashions in downtown Redlands, that tailor Michael accepted the task. He carefully explained to me how he would go about it, by reinforcing the back with similar fabric and gluing before cross-stitching. He repaired them beautifully within two days, and pretty much guaranteed they won't rip in the same place again! I don’t have enough words to describe my gratitude towards Mike. As a single mom, I really had no idea how to shop for suits for my 8th grader. He had events coming up that required him to dress up and I was at a loss. A friend suggested Mike at Tempo Fashions and it was one of the best decisions I made. Professionally done and finished sooner than anticipated. I wanted my jacket to be altered by having a hoodie sown on and Mike exceeded my expectations. Described the measurements and proper appearance of how the hood should fit along with the complexities of attaching it.

He explained the process would take more time due to the limitations of what I brought him; combined with the delicacy of relying solely on using a "hand-sown" method.
