My sister recommended this place since we were walking around in the area to get a quick drink. The seating area was packed with people, which is fine, but there was 3 girls waiting for their drinks when we walked in, so the front area to order wasn’t packed. My sister ordered her drink first, then I ordered mine and my boyfriend’s drinks after her. My sister got her drink and my drinks took maybe 15 minutes after she got hers, which I think is a little too long especially when there was no one else that ordered after us. I ordered their seasonal matcha, and while I was waiting, I saw one of the girls starting to make a matcha drink, but it turned out to be her own drink that she was making. I overheard the 2 other workers asking her “is that the matcha latte” and she said “no this one is mine” So then the guy started to make mine, and while he was making it I heard him ask one of the girls “ is this right?” And the girl leaned into the cup and sniffed it then just shrugged, which lead the boy who was making it, pour some into a another cup and took a taste of it, then he shrugged, and poured my drink in a cup and placed it on the counter. In total I payed $16 for the 2 drinks and if you’re having to “sniff” or “taste test” to see if you made the drink right, odds are it wasn’t made right. I wouldn’t have been mad if they told me “sorry I made it wrong, give me a sec so I can make you another one” but my drink just tasted like a regular matcha latte, even tho it was a seasonal drink on...
Read moreThis place has the most obnoxious customers anywhere. They should strongly consider instituting even a minimal rule about using the space as an office. One person sat down directly behind me, on a couch right behind a chair meaning he was shouting at the back of my head, and started having a loud full-volume speakerphone conversation. I asked him if he had headphones so he moved a few feet away and continued the conversation, then did his DMV training videos for over an hour with no headphones. Bro. He was so amped (on coffee?) he was also pacing around the place with his laptop on his arm, just drinking a juice not even from Landmark and doing his thing like he owned the place. (Does he own the place? I hope not, not a great vibe if he does, lol.) The guy sitting next to me is wearing an actual one-ear headset thing, and having loud zoom calls, like not even realizing he is actually shouting with his colleagues online on his multiple laptops. Like, I totally appreciate the grind, but.... ya gotta let everyone have an equal opportunity to get on it, no? Not just the rudest and...
Read moreIt's been three days since my first visit, and I've had the luxury of stopping into this gem of a coffee shop every day since. I'm almost apprehensive about sharing because I feel this place should be kept low-key, but it's just such a cool place I have to share. The coffee is roasted right there, where you sit and enjoy it. The jams are vibing, and the baristas are all on point with the artistry of coffee making. It seems that James, the owner, Cody (roaster/barista), and Anthony (barista) have a true passion for finer things like kindness and good coffee. Good times will be had here, and lots of coffee will be sold.
OH! Definitely a dog-friendly joint.
