Pros: cute little store, smells clean, enclosures and animals look healthy. Cons: Went in to this store to look around and buy some accessories for my enclosure but was blow away by the marked up prices. $40 for a large cork round, where on Amazon is $13? Some of their items are 2X and 3X the prices of other stores and online. Ended up buying a piece of wood for $36. I came back a few days later hoping to find some mesh for my enclosure but ended up with the wrong sizes, I went back the very same day, within two hours of purchasing it, only to find them closed at 230- when their sign says they close at 6. Called back later that day to talk to someone about returning my items only to be met with 'all sales are final,' okay fine, so then I asked about exchanges only to be met with the same answer. I understand having to raise prices to pay employees and the building lease but this is price gouging and greed at its finest. Everyone wants to support local small businesses but it doesn't make sense when their products 3X the price at other places or online, especially when they aren't making the items themselves. Just go to Bend where the prices are fair. I should have just waited to buy the wood because at the Bend reptile store it was half the price I paid for the same size piece. Extremely disappointed...

Helping me conquer a fear! 🤘 I absolutely loved looking at all of the critters here! So many species I've never seen, especially the jumping spiders, OMG!! 😍 I've had a goal of getting a tarantula so I can officially get over my fear. The knowledge and confidence Samantha has really helped me pull the trigger on this final step. Her excitement makes it clear this is her passion and it makes me so happy to see all of the animals so well taken care of.

For this trip, I came home with the most adorable little blue baby, a Caribina Versicolor. Every question I have had outside of the shop, has been answered quickly and via text which is really helpful because I can refer back if needed. I feel confident with Samantha's guidance that I will get over this fear.

I loved everything about our visit! We got a whole set up for our bearded dragon, plus the bearded dragon. We had been doing a lot of research before and prices were the same if not better than comps. Samatha was INCREDIBLY helpful and so kind to us. We felt very welcomed and she had a wealth of knowledge! There were a couple of things we thought we needed but we didn’t and she was honest and saved us some money, which makes me want to come back. Overall 10/10. I will be doing all of my shopping here even tho I have to drive from Bend. Well worth it to support this...
