Bad experience! The owner was rude, did not stand behind her product or her employee. I was told over the phone that I could exchange a jar of local honey that I had purchased 10 minutes prior because It was bad. When I arrived to do so I was greeted by the owner who said "I'm not taking that back I will lose $18". She snapped at her employee saying "you shouldn't have told her she could return it". She then suggested methods to attempt to revive the honey which I declined and she stated "you need to listen to me and just do what I told you". Perhaps she was having a bad day? Not only do they serve up some of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever tasted, but this delightful little store also boasts an impressive array of locally sourced produce, as well as an exquisite selection of wine and cheese. I had the opportunity to stop by School House Produce while passing through town, and I’m so glad I did! I grabbed a deli tuna wrap, and it was packed full of freshly cut ingredients. The onions and greens were crunchy, the cheese was delicious, and the tuna (sourced from the Oregon coast) was incredibly fresh.
