So after the unreasonable wait to be seated, (35 minutes) we got the opportunity to wait to order food. 30 minutes in fact. Not due to being busy mind you. About 40% of tables are in use. Order placed, let's see how long this will take as we are now invested an hour and 5 minutes. Food in 6 minutes, not honestly a great sign. I've been cooking for 26 yrs and near has my refried beans come out light grey. Taco was crunchy on one side only. Completely soaked on the other. Beef is well under seasoned as is the rice. The tamale also wasn't made to won any prizes. Bland, boring and under stuffed. Enchiladas are watery and the same bland beef and leaves the meal very disappointing. I find it sad and more common today that family owned restaurants have gone away from the practice of making food themselves and can think that their customers are worth nothing more the frozen and reheated food anyone could make themselves. Bring back the great foods your grandmother would have made. Bring back your pride and creativity to your dishes. Your current path will lead you to closed doors. For those who in the last 30 days have gave them a 5 star review, maybe today is great day for you to leave your small town and explore the world. Treat your palate, open you minds to foods that are fresh, flavorful and presented with visible style and flare. As you must have lived a very sheltered life...

I never write reviews. So if I do it's either really bad or good.. In this case, BAD BAD BAD. Took my family here, unfortunately the food was AWFUL. I ordered what I usually do, arroz con Pollo. I tried to eat it, but it was disgusting. I did eat the rice on my plate.... Ide like to add that I'm not the person who usually complains about my meal. I usually just pay for it even when I don't like it. I finally decided to speak up for myself. The waitress was so rude, she didn't offer to fix it. I asked the lady up front if it was OK to take off the meal since I didn't even eat it. She went to talk to her boss, meanwhile the waitress came up to argue with me and tell me that I had to pay for it. Rudest waitress and person I have met in a long time. After arguing with me, she left. The nice lady at the front told me it was OK, that she would take my meal off. Then the waitress proceeded to come back, and tell me off, telling me to write a review and not to come back. Mind you i still paid for 3 other meals, and a deep fried ice cream. 20.00 for a plate of food I didn't eat, and I was being very polite about it. I was shocked that she treated me this way. We also ordered fried ice cream, which none of us liked, it tasted completely stale. I didn't even ask them to take it off, I paid for it anyway. It's people like this who do not belong in the food...

Good grief! What on earth happened to this place? I used to eat here on a regular basis up until about 10 years ago when my work took me away from this area (born and raised here). The food was to die for. Full of flavor. and the service was out of this world. When my friends invited me to go eat there yesterday I was excited. What a BIG let down! The food was bland bland bland. No spice. No salsa. I tried to get someone's attention to at least bring some hot sauce to give it some flavor. No one ever came back. Its like they just left us there. My friend is elderly and is a light eater. She wanted to order a taco. Just one taco. They told her she couldn't. That she would have to order a whole meal.
