Indian tadka — Local services in Redmond

I took my brother here based in other great reviews I've heard. He has always wanted to try authentic Indian food. So being able to have plenty of choices was excellent. The gentleman taking the order who I believe is the owner was very kind, explained things for us, and asked about our spice levels to accommodate our dishes. I now know I can take more heat for sure! But I thought that was very nice and customer focused. Our food was fast, hot and neatly packed. When getting our food he had made an extra Mango Lassi and said this was on the house. This was super kind and I really appreciate that! It was delicious and now I'll be craving it! All around phenomenal place and excellent food. Thank you to the food park owner as well for creating a space that's solely driven on good food and company. We will be back. Another 5 star review for this fabulous food truck! It was our first time eating here—we were definitely impressed by all the great reviews but you never really know until you Experience for yourself, right? And we were Not disappointed—the service was very gracious and the food was ready when promised. It took us 15 minutes to get it home and ladled into bowls, but then with the first bites BLISS began! The mango lasso was sweet and fresh, the rice tender and moist, the chicken vindaloo tender with a bright savory tanginess, and the matar paneer was creamy, rich and so satisfying. We had to ask for chutneys—which were mint and tamarind—so if these sauces are as essential for your Indian curries as they are for ours be sure not to assume they’re included. Highly recommend! We’re so grateful that Redmond now has our own wonderful Indian restaurant....

4/29/25 UPDATE: I've now been here over a dozen times. Consistently amazing and not to be missed. These guys are the real deal! THANK YOU Indian Tadka!

ORIGINAL POST: Wow! DELIGHTED to find this little gem so close to my home! For a food cart, the menu is super-impressive - lots of choices!

Probably the best garlic naan I've ever had. The chicken vindaloo was out of this world.

One tip... whatever star level of spice you normally get, consider backing it down by a notch. I'm always a five on the one-to-five scale, and happy I knocked it down to a four.
