I always knew my life felt empty, but I never knew why. The gaping hole in my life always got deeper and darker every passing day and I pondered what the true meaning of life was. I was constantly questioning humans purpose for existing on this tiny blue rock floating in the cosmos orbiting this small little star we call the sun. In the vast universe why were humans the only sign of intelligent life? That was until I first ate at the mighty Greek food truck in Redmond Oregon. Ever since my taste buds indulged in the exquisite, extraordinary, inevitable food of what the Ancient Greek culture calls a gyro, my mind was expanded beyond belief. My mind reached a whole new level of which I had never thought previously possible. I was so awestruck at the taste of the piece of bread with meat and some vegetables that my mind was fully unlocked as if I was trying psychedelics for the first time. My life was finally complete and the hole in my life was filled with glorious light and purpose. I had never experienced such taste and it was truly enlightening. It was comparable to the second great awakening and the Harlem renaissance. I will never experience such a felling and my life is complete. Upon the first bite of which I lay my lips upon the mighty Greek gyro, I transcended space and time and immediately started levitating as if the gyro gods were pulling me to the heavens. Overall, highly recommend!

Read moreWe were traveling through the area and looking for a place to eat lunch. We were tired of the hamburgers and french fries, so when we saw Greek food, we were curious. Not knowing what kind of area we were driving into, we were cautious, but were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely urban neighborhood with a large space devoted to several food trucks, The Mighty Greek being the only one that was open at the time. Several table and chairs were scattered around, the owners were friendly, passionate about their food, and truly loved what they were doing . The food was prepared fresh, to order for picky eaters (me), delivered warm. Yummmmmm. The gyros were STUFFED with goodness, very filling, dripping with tasty meat, veggies, and sauce. If I lived in this area, I would be making regular stops here. I hope the owners succeed and do well - they deserve it!
On a side note - do not try to get to this location if you are towing a trailer or in an RV. Not really a place to park your vehicle as it is residential...
Read moreI raved about this place to my family after ordering remotely because the gyro was so good! FULL of meat and veggies bursting out of the pita. I enjoyed it so much that I got my family to come back a few days later. I would give them 5 stars. But unfortunately, only a few days later the same gyro was half the size. Barely any meat or veggies and a fairly empty pita. It’s probably the smallest gyro I’ve experienced. My family had to go to an additional food cart to get a side of food because it was so small.
While the quality is good, if the portion sizes are not consistent it can be disappointing to the customer. I’m hoping when I order again it will be a more fair/consistent portion for the value. If it were as small as it was the second time, I wouldn’t have been impressed to go back. But maybe it was just an off night. After I go back, I’ll update this to 5 stars if it ends up being the original food portion I really enjoyed. These gyros are...
