Huge store, lots of inventory, but most of the items are behind locked cases. Very few employees. Employees are hard to find to help.
Target does not make money by displaying items. This is not a museum. Also items will be too old , not fresh any more. Then no customers want to buy them.
Target makes money by selling & handing over items to customers.
At least Target should creat a simple easy way for customers to pay for these locked items on a speedy way like inserting credit card ,or vending systems so customers don't have to rely on non existent help from non available employees.
Shopping at Target stores became more hassle, than enjoyable shopping experience.
Amazon & Walmart & Fred meyer are much better options price wise, and shopping wise, and convenience wise, and customers service wise. Target is losing big Time.
Prices are ok ,and reasonable.
Very very inconvenient way to shop. Almost too difficult.
Very very sad to see how things changed. Even toothpaste is locked ( how funny & how sad).
If theft is a problem, then Target should hire real police officers for security . No theif or robber want to be dealing with real police officers, but when Target hire fake cops( Rent- a cop). Loss Prevention. Those fake cops can't do jack sh-t to those brazen criminals.
Any wages, or money paid to fake cops, or loss Prevention is just waste of money. They don't provide any solution. Just extra costs,
Pay higher wages to real police officers, and solve the problem permanently. Thieves & Robbers will always lose against real police officers.
That's how you solve this retail theft.
Convenient location. Big parking lot ....
Read moretl;dr;: It's a super Target, but it's super understocked and underwhelming.
EDIT: tl;dr: It's mid-March and this Target still trashed. It's even worse than it was right after the holidays. I'm not sure what the issue is as they seem to have a normal number of staff and the staff are generally nice and helpful. But if you look at my new pictures you'll see completely trashed shows aisles and the clothes aisles were worse even. You would think in this higher dollar area that the quality of the store would be higher. And completely crushed product going on the shelves. I'm not sure what's broken here but something is.
Original Review: My first thoughts about this Target we're that it's awesome, it's large, it's a super Target. This was pre Black Friday. Now almost a month after I cannot understand what is wrong here. The store has a ton of employees on the floor but they don't seem to be getting anything impactful done. There's multiple empty carts (or carts with things that need put back where they go) crowding aisles, multiple carts of distro that need put on the shelves, and constant cases of empty gondolas that crowd aisles when they should be removed or restocked and better placed. All of the aisles seem bare, like this place is having a going out of business sale. The only good thing is it's a super Target and if your looking for a selection you have it, if it's in stock. The employees are friendly and are the only other thing good about this location. They need an after hours reset to get this place back into shape if they want to look presentable before the end of...
Read moreI have always loved Target but it is getting more and more frustrating shopping at this one and online. Grocery stock-outs are getting so bad it feels like they’re going out of business and hardly worth trying to shop there because you end up having to go somewhere else. Their app almost NEVER accurately knows what is in stock in the store. And the cash register experience is getting worse; using gift cards has become needlessly complicated. And you have to watch like a hawk to be sure you get the gift card deals and discounts shown on the shelves. Buying online is no better. I’ve repeatedly ordered something shown as available only to get an email a few hours later saying it’s not... then another asking if I still want it... but that order results in the same “whoops we don’t have it” email. Store staff is good; it’s not their fault. Daniel in electronics has been particularly helpful and an example of an employee who puts customers first and goes the extra mile when I bought my new iPhone.... unlike the girl there I dealt with last year buying one as a gift who assured me the recipient (who is on my Verizon account) could activate the phone later when he opened the gift. She had blatantly lied to me; the recipient’s existing phone was immediately deactivated and disabled. The gift surprise was ruined. When I complained to her later she pretended not to know what I was talking about - again lying to my face. You need more people like Daniel and fewer selfish liars like that girl who looked like she was still in...
