This place is the definition of terrible. I’ve been in here three, maybe four times, and each time the staff has been unhelpful. Last month I was here looking for advice about power tools for cutting wood because I’m a novice and know nothing. The person who spoke with me seemed to have zero interest whatsoever to explain what kind of tool might be best for the job at hand. I ended up leaving that visit in disgust and no closer to finishing my project. Today I returned for a product I’ve purchased here in the past: large jugs of kerosene. When I was unable to find any kerosene, I asked for help from the front desk who vaguely waved me towards the paint section. After exhaustively searching the paint section I found no kerosene. No one ever followed up with me to help me find what I was looking for and upon returning to the front desk the person I had originally spoken to paid me no attention. I am done with this place. I seen a couple employees from Ace Follow a gentleman out of the store yelling at him harassing him, getting in his face trying to start a fight. It was very unprofessional and An unsafe environment.I was able to get glimpse of One of the guys names of "Will". Will looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen!! I was able to catch up with the gentleman a few moments laterAnd I asked him what that was all about. He told me he was having a mild asthma attack and he had forgotten his inhaler at home. It's a welcoming store that doesn't have that soulless big corporation feel. It's my first choice when I need outdoor/home/building supplies. Selection is pretty good for the average person's needs (lots of stuff available, but usually only 2 or 3 options for each thing). The worst is when a bored employee comes up to "help" you and just keeps chatting and cannot be put off (lol) but that's just a sign of how many employees there are per customer. It's nice to see a business that's NOT desperately understaffed in a misguided attempt to save money.
