The manager on duty on Sunday, 7/14, was not helpful. He was too busy moving merchandise around. I believe employees were instructed to tell customers the "bathroom sink" in the womens bathroom was broken by someone earlier and couldn't be used. I said I understand, but I really need to use the restroom, I'll use the mens because I have a medical issue." The employee said "OH, both bathrooms are closed" you can try next door. Round Table next door said "No" also. I went to Luckys across the street and almost had an accident, I came back to purchase my items. The cashier rang me up and I slid my card thru and the card reader stayed on the main page and wouldn't acknowledge I slid my card. Another employee can bt and said it's the card reader. Their new and we've been having problems with them. Cancel and try again. 20 minutes later after 3 employees tried to get the machine to work and I tried using the tap to pay they called the manager. 15 minutes later he shows up doesn't acknowledge he was paged and the cashier said "Her cards not registering on two registers. What should we do. He says sometimes they work and sometimes they dont?? He never came over to assist me or his employees. I had to use my pin number for a debit in order for it to work. As I hope consumers know that using debit card pin numbers can be captured by thieves thru skimmers. Only use charge option. It's safer. I will call corpo corporate regarding this visit and hope the manager...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a package to pick up from their UPS locker today. I got a UPS notification that it was there so I went to pick it up. It was not there but other people's packages from that drop off were present. I spoke with the manager Kelly and she was extremely unhelpful and weird about it. I called UPS and they gave me the persons name that signed for the packages. I went back to Kelly and she said that person worked at the San Mateo store. I called that store and the manger there was extremely helpful and took my info in case the package arrived late to their store. I called the Redwood City store again to tell them it was not at San Mateo. Again Kelly was unhelpful and short with me. It took me saying it was suspicious that my package was signed for under a wrong name for her to go look further in the back for my package. Lo and behold my package was on the shipping dock. I honestly think that my package was going to be stolen by this manager because it was a high value item that needed to be signed for. I found her on the floor to retrieve my package and she made me wait in line behind 5 people to get my package (3rd trip to the store with my 5 year old) to have someone get ot out of the locker instead of dong it herself. This woman Kelly is a horrible manager with terrible customer service skills. It is very suspicious that "someone" at her store signed for signature required packages under a wrong name. This UPS drop off should be investigated for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe term customer service is very loosely played at this location. I placed an order for curbside pickup and once I arrived to the designated parking spot, I then completed the steps to let the store know that Iāve arrived. I was given a notification that a staff member would be out shortly to deliver my order. I then waited in my car for 10 minutes while I watched 6 workers inside chatting at the cashier table the entire time. Needing to use the restroom, I headed inside where to where the workers are. I saw that they were leaning against the ācurbside readyā shelf, their backs to me, with my order sitting on the shelf. I grabbed my order and asked the workers where the restroom was. Without even turning around to me to address me, they waive their arms in a general direction saying āover thereā in a dismissive tone. I walk to the restroom only to see that a code is needed. At this point Iām just done with this place and stride back to ask them what the code is. Seeing my obvious frustration, they tell me the code and proceed to laugh as Iām making my way back to the restroom. Not...
